Welcome to my own Grail Quest
The lens is beginning to evolve. I am streaming blog entries onto the page and hope to keep a fairly up-to-date list of books I am reading at the moment. It is a pretty organic idea so I shall allow it to unfold in different ways and see where the journey takes us.

The Field Updated Ed: The Quest for the Secret Force of the Universe
Amazon Price: $11.16 (as of 12/03/2008)![]()
Scientist are often quick to dismiss the spiritual, alternative medicine and practice and anything other than empirically proven experiment. Well here are the scientists who carried out such methodical experimentation and discovered the universe works in a way not explained by conventional science. As a result their work was dismissed, criticised and condemned to obscurity, their careers sent spiralling into meltdown as they were ridiculed by the scientific community. The Field has collected their work and presents it in an informative and enjoyable read. Well researched and well presented, a great read for anyone who wishes to be informed of the whole picture and not just the parts that fit into the established canon of scientific thought.

Science has recently begun to prove what ancient myth and religion have always espoused: There may be such a thing as a life force.
In this groundbreaking classic, investigative journalist Lynne McTaggart reveals a radical new paradigm-that the human mind and body are not separate from their environment but a packet of pulsating power constantly interacting with this vast energy sea, and that consciousness may be central in shaping our world.

Books I would recommend
and ones I have found invaluable
Extreme, maybe, but old books have the scent of knowledge, of adventure, of undiscovered treasures, and there are worse things to be addicted to. In secondhand bookshops I stop and wonder who the previous owner was, what circumstances led to them ending up in a secondhand shop, how they were read and by whom..okay, I will stop there! Collating a list of really important books is, therefore, an impossibility for me, so this is just a start.....on a never ending journey. I will limit it to books that I re-read on a reasonably regular basis.
King, Warrior, Magician, Lover by Moore and Gillette
Iron John by Robert Bly
Books by Dan Millman
Books by Stuart Wilde
Books by R.J. Stewart
Sacred World by Jeremy & Karen Hayward
Coming to our Senses by Jon Kabat-Zinn ( which I am dipping into at present. I would recommend this author, all his books are worth reading).
