With tiny loans (around US$100), financial services and technology, we help the poor, mostly women, start self-sustaining businesses to escape poverty. Our global network of microfinance partners has already reached over 2 million families in 22 countries.

How you can help

There are lots of ways to get the word out about the power of microfinance. Here are a few; please try some out, and if you think of others, let us know.

Squidoo lensmasters:

1. Grameen Foundation is one of the charities you can donate your lens revenues to. Just choose "Payment Options" under My Account. Feel free to let visitors to your lens know that you support microfinance.

2. Link to our lenses to help spread the word. For example, lensmaster Jeffry Vance included us on his Mother's Day lens because we help poor mothers around the world.

People who aren't Squidoo lensmasters (yet): Give it a try -- build a lens about something you care about, then see above.

Bloggers: Link to our microfinance lens, or feature our Word of Blog ad on your blog. We do interviews too.
