The 2011 Grammy Winners: A Video Presentation
The announcement of the Grammy winners for 2011 took place February 13 at the Staples Center, Los Angeles during a live broadcast that included performances by many of the biggest music artists of the day.
Opening with a song tribute to the absent Queen of Soul, Aretha Franklin, by five of today's leading divas, the Grammys also included electric performances by the likes of Lady GaGa, Justin Bieber, Muse, Katy Perry, Eminem, Lady Antebellum and for the first time on a Grammy stage, Mick Jagger.
During the 210 minute spectacular, ten Grammys were awarded and here in order of presentation are the videos of the tracks that made up the Grammy winners of 2011.

The Resistance, which earned Muse their highest-ever debut on the Billboard album chart when it bowed at Number 3. The album's first single, Uprising, topped Mediabase's Alternative Rock chart for 19 consecutive weeks, breaking the record for number of consecutive weeks at Number 1 on the Mediabase Alternative Rock chart for the 2009 calendar year.

It's amazing how fast Lady Antebellum has taken over the world of country music, and 2009/2010 were certainly unbelievable years for them. Need You Now is a rock solid sophomore album, which is sure to send them not only higher up among the country superstars -- but propel them into the pop music world as well.

Eminem states that with Recovery he wanted to raise the bar and return with something that would silence his critics and reassure his fans that he was back to true form and better than ever. Recovery does just that. It's a deep and personal album, but better produced than Relapse and features some of his best lyrics and raps. If you thought Eminem had lost his edge, give this album a listen because it's clear that he has found it again.

- I really like this lens since I missed it the show itself, so it's a good breakdown of the winners. Most I'm quite happy with actually, I especially think Muse deserved to win.

- Wow, Rich, you did a fabulous job in a very short timeframe. I was intrigued by Esperanza Spaulding, so really enjoyed the video you showed here. Also liked hearing Mumford and Sons and Arcade Fire. Felt bad for Barbra Streisand. She's one of my favorites but she just really didn't do it last night, didn't seem to fit in at all. I would have liked it if John Legend and the Roots had performed!
