Soon we will offer weekend trainings for those of you who wish to learn The Mechano (Magic) Treatments, as well as survival strategies to heal when ill. Please see the article about this below the introduction!

The Mechano (Magic) Treatments are not available anywhere else. I learned the treatment at age 6 from my Homeopathic Doctor, and he learned it from Dr Ella Kilgus, who is an obscure individual, unknown to the likes of Google, or any other search engine. She was a psychic healer and combined energy work with the mechanics of her hands and her heart. I had the treatment from her when she was in her nineties. One of her mentors was William James, author of "Varieties Of Religious Experience."

I do the Mechano on my patients, and have taught the nurses I work with how to do it. I am a humble person, and I will say that I am a pro at doing these treatments. I love to do them. And I have proven to myself that I can do one after the other without fatigue.

Energy work is involved with the art of Mechano-Magic, which will be part of the teachings during the workshop/retreat. We will also have periods of meditation, so that when we all go back into the world, meditation will become a way of life.

Who Is Tom Harner?

Tom is a teacher, musician, and farmer.

In his early years, as an actor, he found the roles he played, had a deeper spiritual significance. Through them, his link to reincarnation was established.

After his heart attack in 1992, he received profound healing from Leonard Laskow. Eventually, his studies and travels with Dr. Laskow, led to his certification as a Holoenergetic Practitioner, an Energy Healing Modality.

Tom's life goal is to bring energy medicine into the mainstream of the world, and to bring the consciousness of all beings into alignment with the SELF.

He and his wife Kate, work and live at Blue Heron Farm, a secluded, intimate spiritual retreat surrounded by nature.

Tom is in process of writing the book entitled "The Grand Central Vortex" about his adventures in consciousness.

Who Is Kate Loving Shenk?

Kate has been drawn to Spiritual Practice for most of her life.

Kate took 2 levels of Holoenergetic Healing from Dr Laskow, and found this work to be transformational, and fifteen years later, is still transformed by it!

She was first a Nurse Practitioner, now a Labor and Delivery Nurse in Lancaster PA. She has been a nurse for 26 years.

She writes a successful blog called "Your Daily Prayer For Healing," which is a mini-spiritual vacation for all who are drawn to reading it.

Kate plans to teach and give Mechano Treatments at the Blue Heron Spiritual Retreat Center, along with husband and spiritual partner, Tom Harner.

Spiritual Workshops At Blue Heron Farm

The Grand Opening of Blue Heron Farm Spiritual Retreat was August 13, when Len Laskow led a 3 day retreat/workshop called "Opening To Oneness Through Love."

It was a success, in that we all melted into the arms of a loving vibration.

Now we are making plans for regular meditation gatherings, teaching and giving Mechano Treatments, and doing Energy Healing Sessions.

Spiritual Insight/Spiritual Wisdom In Nature's Playground

Late at night, one night after the time change, working an extra hour at warp speed, I taught one of my nurse colleagues how to do Mechano-Magic!

I taught her first by asking her to watch another nurse friend
do the treatment on me, then she received the treatment.

Now she needs to give me the treatment so I can evaluate her touch.

She asked me: do patients think it's weird when you offer to give
them a treatment? Do they ever say No?

I had to think about this. No, no one has ever refused the treatment, unless she is in active labor, at which time, she doesn't want anyone to come near her. This is not always true, but is true most
of the time.

One of my patients is in the hospital for pre-term labor prevention. She used her call bell to call out, and said she was in excruciating pain.

She said she felt like her vagina was in flames.

Spiritual Consciousness/Spiritual Reality At Weekend Retreats

Here, I said, come towards me on your right side facing those windows.

Then I did the Mechano-Magic with an Energy heart to heart connection, which is a vital part of the treatment.

After ten minutes, she was back to hooking a rug. Within an hour, she had the rug hanging on the bulletin board in her room, and was starting on another project.

She didn't seem to put the pain relief and the Mechano-Magic treatment together. But that's OK!! She didn't know what hit her, but pain relief was the result.

And the baby lived another day inside her womb.

Mechano-Magic was popular in the early 1900's in America. Ella Kilgus originated the treatment and she opened her first clinic in Newark, New Jersey.

I've seen pictures of this clinic, with long, sprawling porches, balconies, long green lawns.

The patients came for Mechano-Magic, ate healthy food, and relaxed under old growth oaks, sometimes for weeks at a time.

Spiritual Experiences And The Blue Heron Farm

Dr Ella, as we all called her, then opened another clinic in Atlantic City, New Jersey, where patients came for treatments and extended stays, with the additional healing of ocean power and lunar tidal rhythms.

This was Dr. Ella's favorite location, but she eventually settled in Philadelphia and had a thriving Mechano-Magic practice there until her death, well into her nineties.

I'd go there with Dr Ella's friend, Dorothea Williams, whose husband, Hal, a homeopath and my family doctor, learned the treatment and treated many of his patients, including my family.

I learned how to do the treatment from Hal Williams.

Receiving the treatment from Dr Ella was an experience I'll always remember.

She was old.

She was literally carried to the treatment table by two of her attendants, one on each side of her.

But when she arrived at the table,she straightened up, stood by herself, placed her powerful hands on my back, and began her magic.

Mechano-Magic.

From a child's perspective, this was amazing, potentially terrifying, maybe a bit odd.

But I was mesmerized by this experience.

Dr Ella was a healer of the highest order.

Now only a few of us know how to do the treatment.

I teach my nurse healer friends, I practice on my patients, my husband and two dogs, now one.

I used to go to the home of Dorthea Williams, who has since passed, and exchange Mechano-Magic with her daughter almost every week.

This has improved my technique.

I am now ready to teach this amazing healing modality to a wider audience.

Agenda: We will begin each day, Friday, Saturday and Sunday at 9:00 am to 4:00pm.

You will learn how to connect heart to heart with your patient or client, how to draw energy from the Universal Divinity, and how to detach after the process is over.

You will learn how to combine the energy of Love with the mechanics of the Mechano-Magic. We will show you how to do it, then will practice the touch, the focus, the healing intention.

We will show you how to give the treatment to animals. We will drive out to a horse farm, if we are able to reserve it, and show you how to do the treatment on horses.

I need to feel your touch upon my back and only then can I tell if your touch is effective. The three days will be filled with giving and receiving Love, combined with the Mechano Treatment itself. And Ulysses the dog will be one of our subjects, as well. He is shown in the picture here going out after his ball.
