San Andreas is GTA squared
Set in late 1992, San Andreas revolves around gang member Carl "CJ" Johnson returning home from Liberty City to Los Santos after learning of his mother's murder. CJ finds his family and his old gang, the Grove Street Families, in disarray. Over the course of the game, CJ gradually unravels the plot behind his mother's murder while reestablishing his gang and exploring his own business ventures. (read more)

Out of all the GTA games i would have to say GTA San Andreas. I love the storyline. What I really miss though is being Carl Johnson from San Andreas.

San Andreas Vs. Vice City
SA is much bigger, better and more expansive but I say that doesn't automatically make it a better game. I'm not denying that SA is a good game at all, I love it, I just don't like people telling me more features makes a game better. SA has much more to do, but its also full of annoyances that VC doesn't have. No doubt, I wish VC had all the content that SA does. Despite all that, and just like VC, SA is addicting as hell lol.
