A Grandma Who Loves Her Job

Most of you around these waters know me as BevsPaper but around home I'm Grandma. So, today I wanted to introduce you to Grandma Bev the personality that many of you haven't had the opportunity to meet. Truth be told, there are several different personalities floating around in this old body but that is another topic and probably should be talked over with a professional therapist. But I digress...

Grandma Bev has begun to surface more in my writing and internet endeavors so i wanted to share that with you all today. Kind of let you in on other things that I do. I came up with the logo at the left to let people know when Grandma Bev is around. One of my little granddaughters calls me a lot to share things with me, so when I saw this old image it just seemed to fit.

One of the things that most of us Grandmas love to do is shop for gifts for our grandchildren. We get them things for their birthdays. We shop for gifts for the holidays. And sometimes we just get them little things because we love them. So that gave me an idea not too long ago.

I decided to start a blog, among other things, providing a sort of service for other Grandmas. As I looked around for things to get for my grandkids, I could share what I found with other Grandmothers. I could suggest toys, books, and other gift ideas to look at for their grandchildren.

We usually get tips from the Moms, our daughter or daughters-in-law and that is great. But sometimes we like to put a little surprise in there too. Something that we found and had more meaning for us... to be from us the Grandma.

When we are brand new Grandmas we even appreciate knowing what items that we should have at our homes for when the babies come to visit or when we babysit them. So, I also give suggestions for that from time to time too. Room decor ideas and items to have around for playtime.

It has become a fun job and I'm happy to do it.
