This is the best gift I ever received for the holidays. The Bose has become my primary stereo and radio. Totally amazing sound quality and volume! Love the compact design. I even take it along when I travel (in my RV) and have used it at work and school, too.

I think this is the perfect gift for my mother, who is a grandmother, because of the simplicity of operation and the way the sound really carries. Grandma doesn't even have to get up to play her music or to listen to the radio. She can use the remote control that comes with this sound system.

I'm warning you, though, you are going to want one of these for yourself. You may end up buying two of them. Well worth every dollar.

My grandmothers loved simple things and didn't want us to spend a lot of money on them. They appreciated just getting out of the house and being taken on a leisurely drive. One grandma loved seeing the holiday lights. She also enjoyed going out for a meal in a restaurant. My other grandma was so happy when we would take her to plant flowers at grandpa's memorial plot.

    Great ideas for grandma, and for mothers too. Love the digital picture frames. My son gave me one several years ago, filled with a selection from family photos. Creative you ...To think of grandmas! Sadly, my mother is unaware of holiday events now, but for several years, she's loved tins of Christmas cookies. She keeps the tin close at all times, till all the cookies are gone.

    When my Grandma was still a live I gave her one of the family trees with photographs in it and she just loved it. Now they have digital photo galleries I really like that idea set to music, but I love all of your ideas actually and am sending your lens to my daughter for ideas for gift giving her grandparents this year :) Blessed *
