Dear GramaBarb: I'm the author of the "Canning Tomatoes Gran's Way" Lens; and I just had to thank you for being my first Commenter on my first Squidoo Lens. I've only recently discovered Squidoo and here I thought I was techno-savy. You've been on here since 2005 and have created 200 Lenses. That's really amazing. I've only looked at this one, which I believe is your last Lens. It's really great and can really come in handy for Moms and Dads and Grandmothers who are looking for Christmas ideas for their little ones. On my wish list right now is a new Pressure Canner because mine is too small and I want to do some serious canning.

Hi Barb, I've heard quite a bit about the book - Unbroken Will: The Extraordinary Courage of an Ordinary Man - The Story of Nazi Concentration Camp Survivor Leopold Engleitner, born 1905. An amazing story! I hope to go to one of his lectures soon. There is one in Pullman. 5*s for posting about this book. (For the lens too, of course.)
