Celebrating Grandparents Day
Since 1978 Grandparents Day has been celebrated on the first Sunday following Labor Day. Well, it has been celebrated by people who actually know about the holiday, and have enough brain cells to remember.
I personally, have not been very good about having my children mail things to their grandparents. Every year I think I will do it better. This year, I am making a Squidoo page to make sure we remember to do something and maybe inspire someone else to do the same!
The picture above is of my grandma and grandpa. They are no longer living, and I never got to spend much time with them, but just seeing the picture of them makes me smile.
