Wrong! The US Government offers over 1000 different grant programs at any one time. Sure, some of those are designed for big business, but according to their own statistics, only about a quarter of business grants go to companies that have more than 100 employees. So that leaves three quarters of all grant programs for people like us - individuals who want to start a new business.

No! If grants had to be paid back, they'd be called loans, and the government wouldn't be doing any more to help small business than the average high street bank.
