- Santa and Mrs. Claus will be on Main Street Dec. 2,3,9,10,16,&17. Along with Dickens costumed carolers.
- The Parade of Lights begins at 7:00 p.m. in the Grapevine Historic District (well, basically downtown Grapevine.) There will be 100 well lit floats. Watch out for well lit patrons coming from Wilhoits (the local biker bar.)
- Pick any weekend in December. Dress the kids in their P.Js and head toward the Grapevine Vintage Railroad for a fun ride on the Polar Bear Express (based on the book).

Things you might not have considered doing here in Grapevine
- Feed the Koi in the Botanical Gardens.
- Watch a high school football game (actually, if its for the kids, just go for the bands.)
- Take them into practically any grocery store and let them "drive" the made for kids grocery carts. Don't forget the complimentary cookies in the bakery.
