Dunlop Graspic DS 3 Snow Tires are designed as a high performance winter tire for passenger cars, crossover vehicles, and minivans. This is Dunlop's latest generation studless ice and snow tire introduced in 2009 to replace the Graspic DS 2.

The Dunlop Graspic DS 2 is the previous generation studless snow tires prior to the DS 3 model. These tires are best suited to areas where it snows all winter but does not get too icy, although the hard ice performance is acceptable in this class. Many dealers have stopped stocking the DS2 in favor of the DS3, but you can still find new inventory on eBay and other locations. They are not the top performing snow tire (especially in the dry) but you can get them at a lower price than the leading models and they still have Dunlop's high quality construction.

Dunlop also offers the Graspic DS-2 CTT (Combined Tire Technology) with the ability to continue driving up to a distance of 50 miles after you get a flat tire.

Key features of the Graspic DS2:
- Center groove creates a "pillar" that punches into crusty snow and enhances grip on icy, packed snow, and dry roads
- High-density grooves and sipes and bigger contact area substantially improves gripping capabilities compared to all-weather tires
- Low tire weight and round cavity shape provides a softer ride than competing tires
- Tire noise is reduced due to the specially designed tread shape
- Excellent traction in snow and slush
- Good traction on ice
- Q-rated up to 120 mph
