Grasstrack Motorcycle Modification

Not only motor sport and cub kind that follows Grasstrack race, even retro-classic scooters were also playing in mud. The race is organized by the one Vespa local club to celebrate the anniversary.

One of his fans off-road adventure motorcycle daily willingly turned into the specification dirt bike. Scorpio Yamaha motorcycle which has a capacity for 225 cc engine was replaced and modified in several parts so it can be used for adventure.
Standard chassis is cut on the back. Beside the cut, the degree of rear chassis is also modified so that it becomes the top. While the double-cradle and backbone unchanged.
To give comfort, standard suspension front suspension replaced with Kawasaki KDX 220. Although still the same type telescopic, suspension KDX 220 has a diameter of 43mm would be more convenient because it is specifically used for the enduro. To complete the modification, handlebar was replaced by Scott, equipped with Acerbis handguard . While the front fenders replaced with KTM's.
Now ready, Yamaha's "KDX" scratch the soil ... and into the forest.

Grasstrack motorcycle is a modified version of Suzuki Satria 120R. By default this is a sport motorcycle cub who has a capacity for 120 cc 2-stroke engine, with six speed. Indeed, this bike has a great power with a typical 2-stroke engine.
Standard front suspension was removed and replaced with shock absorber owned Honda Tiger. To appear manly, shock absorber a telescopic type gave sleeve size 50mm. While suspension and rear swing arm is not replaced.

Part engines changed little. For ignition now wearing CDI BRT Hyperband unlimiter and Coil Blue Thunder.
