I Owe a Debt of Gratitude for all the Support I have had while writing Squidoo lenses.

Thank you, Jeff, for all your support.

Recently I read this reminder: "When an author writes a book, she writes an Acknowledgments section where she pays homage to and says thanks for all the people who helped along the way." This lens of Gratitude and Acknowledgements is long overdue. I have written not one but over 200 lenses and I could not have written that many lenses without the uncondtional love and support of my son, Jeff (aka jeffryv).
This '200 lens book' begins 2005 when the Doctors told me I had less than a year to live unless I have open heart surgery to correct the problems. While waiting for the surgery date Jeff knew I needed a new computer project to work on to get me through those difficult days. He sent me a link to Squidoo and said "Mom, this looks like something you would enjoy. Join and give it a try." I am forever grateful to Jeff for having the insight to know what I needed at that time. And for helping me to not give up. "Never quit!" Jeff always said.

It is all about this guy!

Thank you, Jeff, for your endless patience and sense of humour.

As I grappled with all the new terms on Squidoo and hours of Jeff helping me through some of the difficulties I was having I finally published my first lenses. All the while, Jeff was pushing the envelope as he was trying new things on Squidoo and getting excited about what he was learning. Ever since Jeff was little he has pushed the evelope - dreamt big and now he was teaching me to do the same. Soon Jeff was setting the bar even higher for himself.

Google Earth really is Jeff's Passion

The content of this lens barely scratches the surface of what Jeff could tell you about Google Earth.

Jeff's sense of humour can chase the darkest clouds away. Thank you for the gift of your humour, Jeff!

Jeff learned early to "Smile and let it go!"
