Grease Halloween Costumes
USA, the fifties. Danny and Sandy met at Rydell High School. They had a puppy love last summer but Danny wouldn't admit it to anyone. Danny treats Sandy as a stranger and Sandy wants to get Danny's love back. She will spectacularly succeed on Rydell High School's Fancy Fair.
In the year 1978, one of the most famous movie musicals in the USA is brought to the screen. Along with Saturday Night Fever, Grease was one of the most popular movie of the late seventies and affected a worldwide generation of teenagers.
We loved Grease; we wanted to look like Sandy, Rizzo, Marty, Danny, Keneckie, any T-Bird or Pink Lady. If you were a teenager thirty years ago, you surely sang "You're The One That I Want". I did! My History teacher at school sang "Summer Nights" in the classroom and dedicated an entire hour to the Grease phenomenon! I dreamed about looking like Rizzo.
If I choose not to dress a witch costume for this Halloween, I probably will choose Rizzo's costume. Grease provides a bunch of different characters and costumes coming right from the fifties. This film musical is not only an opportunity to make a return to those "happy days" but as well an inexhaustible resource of Halloween costume ideas for us to wear on October 31st.

Sandy At Rydell High School Costume
- Sandy (Olivia Newton-John) is blonde, naive and fell in love with Danny during the Summer holidays. She didn't know she would meet him at her new school!

Rizzo, Keneckie's girlfriend
- Rizzo (Stockard Channing), leader of the Pink Ladies, is a teenager who lives free as a bird, according to her own laws. She broke with Danny and became Keneckie's girlfriend.
