Fantastic Baby Teethers

One thing that is always needed with babies are teethers and some of these teethers look good enough to.....well eat!  

 

Baby teethers can make great presents for a baby and there are some great ones on the market.   There are bright and colorful ones that double up as toys as well as vibrating ones and soft ones.

 

Let's have a look at some of them, starting with a way to subliminally encourage healthy eating in the future - fruit and vegetable teethers!!

Banana's Are Great for Teething 

A mom's tip for teething babies

When my dd was a baby I used frozen banana when she was teething, obviously this is messy and is definately a 'staying home' solution, but it worked well. Basically I cut a small banana in half, added a little lemon juice to it (to stop it going black) and wrapped it in plastic wrap and put into the freezer until it was needed. As my daughter got a little older I started to put the banana half onto plastic popsicle sticks that I had.

The coldness of the frozen banana really seemed to give her comfort and as a side effect it was also giving her some nutrition and let's face it babies often don't want to eat when they're teething.
