This bird has deafening sound. I have at least five great mynahs but unfortunately, they have gone. I could not take of care the bird. The bird is very sensitive. It can stand with noisy environment. My mother had cut the chicken piece near the mynah cage, next day the bird gone. I am sorry to remember that.

I thought the place of mynah is jungle so we should not capture and put n the cage. The Bird will suffer. The real habitat is from South East Asia like Malaysia, Indonesia, and Vietnam. In Indonesia, this Bird spread only Sumatra and around Sumatra.

This Bird is has good sound. It can sing the national anthem Indonesia. It can also answer your greeting. Unfortunately, the ability invites people to catch it. The best Mynah is from Nias Island, North Sumatra. The Mynah is great than others. The size of bird is almost same with pigeon. The bird is more intelligence than the others are.

Although this bird physic is not beautiful, it is very lucrative. Almost the body has black feather. There is little line at the wing of the bird. The beak color is yellow reddish. Meanwhile the foot and talon color is yellow. This bird has comb like chicken but the comb is not on top like chicken. The bird has yellow comb. The old bird has long yellow comb. The comb grows as the age increase.

This bird is protected by International law. The illegal trading of the bird could bring you to jail.
