Hi if I may I'd like to recommend my own book 'Drummossie' recently published on Amazon. It is a fast moving political thriller set in Scotland a few years into the future. It concerns an attempt by Scotland to leave the UK against the wishes of the UK government and results in the first major military conflict since the battle of Culloden in 1746. I've just created a lens for it with some links to my favourite places in Scotland. Happy reading!

What about "What Technology Wants" by Kevin Kelly. I got it from you Seth when you compared it favorably with Guns, Germs and Steel.

Of course I'm going to suggest my own books--romantic comedy "The Other Boyfriend" and general fiction drama "The Soul Bearers". Both available on Kindle at $2.99 each. Author: Sylvia Massara. That's me, all the way from Sydney, Australia. Happy Kindle reading!

Content Rules by Ann Handley and C.C. Chapman provides comprehensive guidelines on creating content that not only informs but inspires. It combines the fundamentals of good storytelling and journalism with the fundamentals of marketing, offering concrete tips and case-studies that will help you create better blogs, podcasts, videos, ebooks, and webinars. What's more, the book is written in a crisp, engaging style, with guidelines that are broad enough to apply to all publishers, marketers and non-marketers alike. A very meaty book, with tons of fun examples. Good deal.

Well, I just published a mystery on Kindle and it's already doing better than all my traditionally published books. Maybe ebooks will bring reading back to the masses. It's certainly democratizing it.

I recommend Huge Profits With a Tiny List by Connie Ragen Green. With so many people wanting to get started on the Internet with a business, this book puts it all into perspective.

I'm a big fan of The 4 Hour Work Week, and now, The 4 Hour Body, both by Timothy Ferriss. Both of these books will change how you think, and The 4 Hour Body will change your body for the better through the Slow Carb diet.

If you like the Dip, you'll enjoy The Talent Code by Daniel Coyle. May just give you that extra umpfh to push through the dip.

    Talent is Overrated, Geoff Colvin
Teach Like a Champion, Doug Lemov

Totally shameless plug: Miss Mentor's Little Black Book of Grammar. Hey, it's $5 and if you are preparing for an old school standardized test, it's all the Grammar you need without all the other fussy stuff.

Economic Facts and Fallacies, Thomas Sowell - very conversational, approachable reading.

My best book of 2010 (and it's on Kindle, too!) is Chocolate Wars: The 150-Year Rivalry Between the World's Greatest Chocolate Makers by Deborah Cadbury. It's got everything - Innovation. Globalization. Competition. Failure. Success. Indomitability and Vision. Great takeaways and a great read. You can read about one of the biggest takeaways at http://bit.ly/evbhr3 . Thanks, Seth, for everything you do - and Happy Holidays to All!

I would like to suggest my own novel, 'TAG'. USD2.99 on Amazon. That may seem cheap, and yes it is less than cup of coffee at Starbucks, but that does not mean it was produced cheaply.
Read the reviews and judge for yourself - if your tastes run to Sci-Fi with a near future thriller bent - you can't go wrong. Just search for TAG - Simon Royle on Amazon.

    Merry Christmas
