As you already know, women love wearing mascaras. Mascaras are our secret weapon for miraculously transforming our plain eyes into gorgeous, breathtaking images. We use mascaras to draw attention to ourselves, to men and what the heck, anyone else who happens to walk by. :) Some of us don't have natural piercing eyes because their are other women whose eyes stand out leaving us in the background. The BareMinerals Flawless Definition Waterproof Mascara has been criticized with great reviews, however, it has only one main issue that some people seem to have. The waterproof mascara is so good, it really is hard to come off. I would suggest, if you are having difficulty, to use a make up remover to help to get the mascara off. Honestly, it has to be hard to come off. It is called a WATERPROOF mascara and most products with that title are so easy to take off, that it comes off whenever it feels like. Using a makeup remover is worth it when removing the BareMinerals Waterproof Mascara. It's the least you could do after it made your eyes look good all day. : )

Like the BareMinerals Waterproof Mascara, the The Shiseido Lasting Lift Mascara is very difficult to get off. In fact, it is really really really difficult to get of for some people. The fact that it can't get off easily shows how good of a waterproof mascara it really is, which really is what the Shiseido Lasting Lift Mascara is all about.

Besides from being stubborn to remove, the Shiseido Lasting Lift Mascara also has another issue of clumping. Not the majority, but some people felt that if too much of the mascara is applied, it will start to clump. However, since it does such an amazing job on people with straight, short lashes (like some Asian), the Shiseido Lasting Lift Mascara's slight clumping and difficult removal is worth it, if it truly does wonders to your lashes.

To solve the clumping problem, with this mascara:

1) DO NOT apply in excess and

2) Use a lash comb/brush to help separate those lashes.

That way your issues are solved and you can still be able to enjoy the Shiseido Lasting Lift Mascara.

When it comes to the issue of it being difficult to remove try using Clarins eye makeup remover, Shiseido's Skincare Instant Eye and Lip Makeup Remover, or any other slightly oily eye makeup remover of your choice. The oil really helps to get it off much better than a non-oily make up remover.

Now since, I've pretty much answered the main issues, I hope that you are able to continue using this mascara if you love it so much. If you haven't then go get one for yourself.

Two Flaws for Your Cause

The Chanel Waterproof Mascara has two distinct complaints. While some people loved it, others have claimed it to be EXPENSIVE. The cost of the Chanel Waterproof Mascara is from about $40 - $92 on Amazon! It is truly in the expensive category, however this is a CHANEL product. You can't expect it to be cheap. The name is what makes it so expensive. Not only that, some people say that despite the cost they LOVE the mascara, however they cannot afford to buy it over and over again.

So If you can afford to buy it, or if you can afford to save up for one, then go ahead and try out the Chanel Waterproof Multi-Dimensional mascara. If not, oh well :(

Another criticism of the Chanel waterproof mascara ,is that it does not last long. I don't mean that it does not last long on your lashes, so don't fret. I mean that after a couple uses, the mascara itself, not the one already applied on your face, begins to get dry and clumpy making it only last for about a month. This is a good product but the expensive formula only lasts for a month. It works wonders, but the main downfall is having to buy a new one every single month.

Maybe this product is a one to three time purchase instead of all year. If you have the money and it makes your eyes look like WOW, then good for you. But if you love it and are not rich then, I would suggest 1) buying it once more and only when you can afford it and 2) not using it as your main mascara but only for special occasions instead.

This is not a typical mascara so people need to stop comparing it to the drugstore brands. The Chanel waterproof mascara is more of a luxury product. You pay more to get fantasy results.

P.S. Like the Shiseido, don't over swipe this one on your lashes either. Maybe more than the Shiseido, but you should know, too much excess of this product and you might be looking at a failed end result. Yikes!
