I'm making this page because I admire great coahces. Throughout History there have only been a handfull of successful coaches in all sports. I believe that these coaches have unique characteristics that make them great. I plan to explore these strenghts to help people live better lives.
Jimmy Johnson
Recruiting
Jimmy Johnson was not an immediate success in the NFL. His main goal in the first years was to find great young talent. He traded experienced players, most noticeably of which was Hershal Walker. The Cowboys traded him for draftpicks over the next few years. Jimmy was able to identify the best college talent and bring them in to the Cowboy organization. In a few years those draftpicks became household names (Troy Aikman, Emmit Smith, Michael Irvin, etc) eventually leading to 3 Superbowl championships in the 90's. jimmy's recruiting abilities made him the best coach of the 90's.

- Jimmy Johnson gets my vote. The Cowboys were so dominant for a few years that there was no question that they would win the Superbowl.
