Harlequin Haven Great Dane Rescue is an all-volunteer-run 501(3)c NO KILL shelter dedicated to saving and placing abused, abandoned, and neglected Great Danes and other dogs in suitable, loving, and forever homes in Ohio, Northern Kentucky, and Eastern Indiana.

Harlequin Haven Great Dane Rescue, http://www.hhdane.org/, is an all-volunteer-run 501(3)c NO KILL shelter dedicated to saving and placing abused, abandoned, and neglected Great Danes and other dogs in suitable, loving, and forever homes in Ohio, Northern Kentucky, and Eastern Indiana.
Mission Statement:
* To educate people about spay/neuter and the need for sterilization of all pets, proper health care of a pet, and nutritional requirements.
* To promote humane principles, to protect homeless, abandoned, and mistreated Great Danes, and other animals as space allows.
* To work with animal shelters and humane societies to protect Great Danes.
* To locate life-long homes for the homeless Great Danes and any other animal in our care.
In 2006 the rescue spent $18,000 on veterinary bills alone!

- Oh my goodness, those paintings are BEAUTIFUL! You are doing such great work. I think many people get a Great Dane with no understanding of the commitment involved. Best wishes to you for continued success with your programs.

- Thank you Harlequin Haven for providing our family with a wonderful pet. This is a great cause. Harlequin Haven has saved so many deserving animals from terrible situations of neglect and abuse and continue to do so no matter what obstacles they have to overcome. A very worthwhile organization that you can feel good about supporting.

- What an important lens!. I imagine that Danes are like Dalmatians. It seems cool and such fun to have them, but people don't think enough before hand and then too many just walk away.
