Don't you love The Beatles?

It is by far one of the most creative, and innovative covers for any record album. The creativity of the album cover carries through to the music contained within. It's also so bright and colorful, and it's quite the challenge to identify all of the people included in the cover (it's a great party game!)

This album along with the movie, "Yellow Submarine" are my favorite two Beatles projects.

The Top Five Reasons Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band By The Beatles is the Greatest Album-cover

  1. It's the Beatles greatest album ever produced, so it has to have the greatest album cover as well.
  2. It's an incredible mix of inspirational and humerous people who were each selected by the band members.
  3. It was controversial for its time (even though the controversial figures of Jesus, Ghandi, and Hitler do not appear in the final version).
  4. The Sgt. Pepper costumes (as also used in the Yellow Submarine movie) are so fantastical they're almost cartoonish.
  5. Because it's my favorite.

    Yes, life long Beatles fan...think Sgt Pepper is the most influential album ever recorded. It's technological breakthroughs are numerous and the LP cover is awesome. To read about the in the Studio recording of many of the songs check out my website @
