Easy recipes which are yummy and feed a crowd!
I made this lens for my wonderful children - Rachel, Renae, and Michael so you have all the family favorites. These recipes are the "easy" way of cooking for a busy family. They taste great but don't take a long time to make or millions of ingredients. There are a few things which take a little more time or ingredients but for the most part this is "budget gourmet" the quick and easy way!

If I have forgotten any of your favorites... send me a note please! Love you!

Au Gratin Potatoes & Ham
Any Type Of Potatoes - peeled and sliced thinCooked Ham - cut into 1/2" chunks
Campbell's Cream Of Mushroom Soup - use enough to cover all your other ingredients (use more for bigger batches and less for smaller batches)
Milk - use just enough to make your cream of mushroom soup easily spreadable
Velveta Cheese - cut into 1/2" chunks or slices
Mix all ingredients and bake on 375 degrees until potatoes are cooked and soft.
Aunt Tammy's Macaroni Salad
I'm always "forced" into bringing this!
1 lb bag of macaroni - boiled, drained & cooled (be careful not to overcook - the best way to cool is to place in the strainer/colander and drain the hot water then turn on cold water and stir around under cold water until all noodle feel cold - be careful when you start this because the macaroni is very hot and could burn you)(Note:see below - the peas will be with the macaroni here)Frozen Sweet Peas - When the macaroni is finished cooking but before you drain the hot water off the macaroni add the bag of frozen sweet peas to the hot water and stir for a couple of minutes to thaw the peas
A block of yellow/white cheese - cut into small square chunks - use your favorite cheese.
1/2 Bottle of Kraft Ranch DressingYou can use Kraft-Free Ranch if you like - it tastes pretty much the same.
1/2 Jar of Hellman's Real MayonnaiseYou can use salad dressing if you like but I prefer the Hellman's.
Bacos
Mix all ingredients but the Bacos then top with Bacos and serve.
Notes:
Make sure your noodles are cold before you add the other ingredients or your mayo could spoil.
You can refrigerate your noodle/peas for a bit until they are cold if you like.
Once you've mixed this it tastes best if serves immediately - if your not serving immediately make sure you refrigerate it - then make sure you stir it again before you serve it - sometimes you might want to add a little more ranch and/or mayo to make sure it is creamy.
Never top with Bacos until right before you serve or they will get soggy.
Baked Beans
2 cans Pork-N-Beans1/2 cup Brown Sugar
This is easy enough! Just add brown sugar to your pork-n-beans and bake at 375 degrees until hot.
Some people like to add molasses.
Some people like to add bacon.
Add what ever you like and make it your own.
And an even easier way for baked beans is to just go buy Bushes grilling beans.... they have like four or five flavors that are all to die for!!!
Beans - Refried
1/2 pound Pinto BeansWater
Garlic Cloves
Salt
Cooking Oil
First you take the Pinto beans and clean them.
You do this by picking out all the broken beans, discolored beans, & wrinkled beans.
Then place beans in a strainer/colander and rinse them very well.
Then place them in a crock pot.
Take Garlic Cloves one whole clove peeled and place in crock pot.
Fill crock pot with water up to about an inch from the top.
Toss in a dash or two of salt.
Cook overnight or all day on low or medium to get them done a little faster.
Once the beans are all soft remove from water but reserve the water/broth.
Heat a skillet with a little cooking oil (use low to medium heat) then place a cup or so of beans at a time in the skillet and smash them.
If the beans start to dry out add a little of the reserved water/broth.
Continue to add beans and broth and smash until you have enough for your meal.
Salt to taste.
If you do not use all the beans for one meal (this makes alot of beans) you can refrigerate them for one to two days (Keep beans in water/broth until you plan to use them to make refried beans.
Bean Slop :)
Refried Beans - Recipe above1 pound of ground beef - browned and drained
Cilantro - chopped
1 Small Onion - finely chopped
1 Tomato - cut up into small pieces.
Cooking Oil
Place onion in cooking oil and fry on low heat until translucent.
Add Cilantro and tomato and stir.
Add Hamburger and stir.
Add Beans and stir.
You may want to add some broth from the beans to keep this a slightly runny consistency.
Occasionally I will also add some of my Mexican rice and I have known other people to add things like Okra or other vegetables.
It's delicious and can be served with tortillas or nacho chips as a main dish or a side dish.
Banana Split Cake
1 Strawberry Cake Mix - Mixed as per instructions on boxBrown Sugar
1 Can Pineapple Rings - Reserve Juice
Carmel Ice Cream Topping
Chocolate Fudge Ice Cream Topping
A Couple Ripe Bananas - sliced
Maraschino Cherries
Strawberries
1 Box Instant Banana Pudding - prepared as per instructions on box
2 Heath Bars - Crushed
Cool Whip - Thawed
Spray cake pan with non-stick spray or use a non-stick pan.
Place pineapple rings in bottom of cake pan.
Fill Center with banana slices, strawberry slices, and cherries.
Sprinkle heavily with brown sugar.
Pour cake batter over top of this and bake until cake is done (you will be able to stick in a fork and it will come out clean).
Cool cake for just a few minutes until it is no longer hot but is still warm to the touch.
Poke holes all over the top of the cake with a fork.
Pour half the jar of Carmel over the cake in a zig zag pattern.
Then pour half the Hot Fudge over the cake in a zig zag pattern Opposite the Carmel pattern.
Cool cake the rest of the way then refrigerate until cold.
While the cake is getting cold...
Fold Cool Whip into Banana Pudding and then fold in the heath bar pieces.
Right before serving Top cold cake with this mixture and then top with the rest of the bananas, strawberries, and cherries.
BBQ Beef Ribs
Beef RibsSauce # 1
Hienze 57 Sauce
Honey
Mix one part honey to two parts 57. Brush or spoon over ribs - This is best for grilling.
Sauce # 2
Cookies BBQ Sauce
Canned Sliced Mushrooms - drained
This is best for baking. Place meat in pan and cover with sauce/mushroom mix.
BBQ Chicken
ChickenSauce # 1
Hienze 57 Sauce
Honey
Mix one part honey to two parts 57. Brush or spoon over chicken - This is best for grilling.
Sauce # 2
Cookies BBQ Sauce
Canned Sliced Mushrooms - drained

Beef Stew - Flu Stew
3/4 large can V-8 juice
Potatoes - peeled
Onions - Chopped
Carrots - cut up or use baby carrots
Celery - cut into small bite size pieces
Cabbage - chop head up into 8 or so chunks
Hot Water
Beef Bouillon - Wylers crystals are best
In a large pot add all ingredients except water and beef bouillon.
Then dissolve 1/4 jar of beef bouillon in hot water and add to other ingredients. Stir well
Heat then taste. If this isn't beefy enough, dissolve more beef crystals in hot water and add but be careful... add more beef bouillon slowly because as it heat "pop" and before you know it the stew will be too salty. Remember you will have salt on your crackers too!
Saltine Crackers - and butter if you choose
Better Than Sex Cake
1 Chocolate Cake Mix - Mixed as per instructions on boxCarmel Ice Cream Topping
1 small can evaporated milk
Maraschino Cherries
2 Heath Bars - Crushed
Cool Whip - Thawed
Spray cake pan with non-stick spray or use a non-stick pan.
Pour cake batter in pan and bake until cake is done (you will be able to stick in a fork and it will come out clean).
Cool cake for just a few minutes until it is no longer hot but is still warm to the touch.
Poke holes all over the top of the cake with a fork.
Pour half the jar of Carmel over the cake in a zig zag pattern.
Then pour the evaporated milk over the cake in a zig zag pattern Opposite the Carmel pattern.
Cool cake the rest of the way then refrigerate until cold.
While the cake is getting cold...
Fold Heath Bar pieces into cool whip.
Right before serving Top cold cake with this mixture and cherries.
Breakfast Bisquit
You will need either1. Bisquick biscuits - prepared as per instructions on box
2. Pilsbury biscuits - prepared as per instructions on tube
3. Butter Buds biscuits - prepared as per instructions on tube (these are my favorites)
While your biscuits are baking prepare
Scrambled Eggs - fold these more like omelet style eggs rather than actually scrambling them
Bacon or Sausage
Butter
American Cheese Slices
While your biscuits are still warm butter them and place your cheese inside then your hot eggs in order to let the cheese melt a little and place your meat inside and serve.
Breakfast Burrito's
This one is pretty much a free for all... anything you like goes in... but the ingredients grandma used when she would make these for our get togethers wasScrambled Eggs I like to add tomato and onion to my scrambled eggs as they cook *** tip start cooking onions first when they are about half done add eggs when they are almost done add tomato or sometimes the onion will not be cooked all the way or the tomatoes will have too much juice and your eggs will not cook right.
Sausage or Bacon - cooked separately
Hashbrowns - Black Olives - cut into pieces
Jalapenos
Tortillas - warmed
Hot Sauce
Shredded Cheese
My mom would have bowls of various things so each person could add whatever they liked and not have to eat things they didn't like. It would be good to have Ketchup and Syrup on hand for the kids. Get crazy you can put anything in these like avocado or what ever works for you!
Cavitini
1 pound bag of large shell noodles - boiled & drained
1 medium jar (28-32 oz) of spaghetti sauce
(I prefer Prego mushroom & onion but any kind will work)
1 medium jar (16 oz) of hot sauce
(I prefer Old El Paso Hot Taco Sauce but you can use medium or mild sauce if Hot is too much for your taste - I have also used picante sauce when I can find the Hot Taco Sauce - this adds a little more texture)
2 bags of Mozzarella cheese
Mix first four ingredients in a cake pan and then top with Mozzarella cheese and bake at 375 degrees until small brown spots start to form on top.
I like to serve Cavitini with at least garlic bread but if I have a group coming over I will also serve corn and salad for the perfect meal. This is a favorite every time!
Chicken Noodle Soup
FlourEggs
Water
Salt
Pepper
Chicken
Chicken Bouillon - Wylers crystals are best
Boil your chicken - use a large pot.
Take about 1/2 the bag of flour in a large bowl. Add salt - about 1/4 cup (or just pour some into your cupped hand) mix thoroughly.
Add pepper - about 1/8 cup (or just sprinkle and mix until flour is lightly speckled).
Add 6 eggs to start with and a little water.
Stir then knead.
Add flour, eggs, or water (go easy on the water) until you get this to form into a ball.
Then spread flour on the counter top and knead your dough ball until it is thoroughly mixed.
Let it rest for about a half hour while you remove the bones and skin from your chicken.
Return chicken meat to the water you boiled it in and add chicken bouillon and more water (be careful adding chicken bouillon because if you get too much it will be too salty so add it slowly because as it heats the chicken bouillon crystals "pop" (bring to a boil)
Then tear off a chunk of your dough and roll it out flat, cut it into noodles, drop them one by one into the boiling broth and stir with each noodle you drop in so they do not stick together.
Chili
Chili Beans - I prefer Mrs. GrimesTomato juice
Onions
Hamburger
Canned whole Tomatoes
Tomato Paste - Optional - add only if you like really thick chili
Chili Powder
Brown hamburger with onions. Then add all ingredients and cook until hot.
Serve with velveta cheese chunks, cinnamon rolls, and crackers.
Chili Dog
Easy EnoughHotdogs - cooked
Hotdog Buns - make sure they are soft and fresh
Chili - homemade (see recipe on this page) or Hormel canned
Make sure you have a variety of condiments to keep everyone happy.
Chili Reyanos
1 pound HamburgerPotatoes - diced into small pieces
Large poblano peppers
Eggs
Cumin
Salt
Cooking Oil
First take your peppers and sear the outside to remove the skin (this means kind of burn the outside this is done easiest if you have a gas stove and just place the peppers on the fire - turn frequently - the skin will kind of bubble and turn black - be careful not to burn the "pepper meat" - the green part). Leave the stems on - this is what you will hold to turn them.
Once you have removed the skin from the peppers cut a small slit in them and reach inside to remove the seeds.
Cook the hamburger and potatoes in a little oil add cumin and salt to taste.
Once this is done stuff peppers with this mix.
Then take your egg whites and fluff them with a mixer so they get real puffy. Then fold in the egg yolks - gently so you don't lose the fluffiness.
Dip stuffed peppers in egg mix and place in pan with hot oil to cook the egg on the outside. This only takes a couple of minutes on each side. It will take 3-4 turns to cook all sides.
Serve with tortillas, rice, and beans.
Chocolate No Bake Cookies
3 cups oatmeal1/2 cup coconut
1/2 cup nuts (optional)
1/3 cup cocoa
1/2 cup milk
1 stick margarine
Blend oatmeal, coconut, and nuts. Set aside.
Cook sugar, cocoa, milk and butter until buter melts, about 5 minutes.
When butter is melted, cook another 5 minutes.
Add to oatmeal mixture.
Stir and drop on waxed paper.
Note: If chocolate cooks too long, it dries out and will not form cookies, but it is good ice cream topping, so don't throw it away.

Crab Rangoon
Won ton WrapsPhiladelphia Cream Cheese
Canned Crab Meat
Egg Whites
Cooking Oil
Easy enough - just drain water off crab meat, mix with cream cheese, stuff won ton wraps with a spoon full of the mix. Then rub or brush a little egg white on the edges of the wrap to seal - pinch wrap closed and deep fat fry.
Corn - Scalloped
1 can whole kernel corn - drained2 cans cream corn
6 eggs - beaten
Crackers - smashed (crackers usually come 4 packs to a box - I don't measure but 1 to 1 1/2 packages will be all you need) My mother likes to use cheesy crackers but I prefer regular saltines - so give both versions a try.
1 Stick of Parkay
Mix corn, crackers, and eggs. The consistency should be thick and gooey.
Take 1/2 of your stick Parkay and break off chunks
then stir them into the mix, then smooth out the mixture in your baking pan.
Take the other half of the Parkay and dab chunks on top.
Then bake at 375 degrees until...
1. you can insert a fork and it comes out clean and
2. the top starts to brown.
Cucumbers - Creamy - Coming Soon
We're waiting on Beronica for this recipe Cucumbers - Pickled
Another simple but delicious side dish.Cucumbers - sliced
Onions - Cut into rings
Salt
Pepper
Vinegar
Water
Add 2 parts water to 1 part vinegar add cucumbers and onions, then salt and pepper to taste. Best if let sit in refrigerator over night.
Deviled Eggs
Eggs - Boiled, peeled, cut in half and remove yolkMayo
Mustard
Paprika
Mix egg yolk, mayo, and mustard into a smooth creamy texture - some people like more mustard than others so add mustard to taste.
Fill egg white halves then sprinkle with paprika for appearance.
Embueltos
Chicken - boil, remove bones and skin and cut or tear into small piecesWhite corn tortillas
Cooking oil
Fill tortillas with chicken then roll them up and fry in oil.
Sauce
Tomato Sauce
Onions - cut into small pieces
Garlic Salt
While your chicken is boiling make sauce. Add onions to tomato sauce and garlic salt to taste... cook on low heat until all onions are soft.
Serve embueltos covered with sauce, rice, beans, and guacamole.
Enchiladas - Rosendo's
coming soon or not... depends on how long it takes Renae to send me this ... ha ha Grilled Cheese Sandwiches
BreadButter
Cheese slices - american or velveta

Goolosh
Macaroni - boiled and drainedWhole canned tomatoes - with juice
Hamburger - browned (cook with onions)
Onions
Garlic Salt
Tomato Juice
Add cooked macaroni, hamburger, onions, tomatoes, tomato juice and stir then add garlic salt to taste.
Guacamole
AvocadosTomato
Onion
Salt
Cut avocados in half and pull out pit, use a spoon to get the avocado meat out of the skin then mash with a fork, add tomato, add onion, add salt to taste.
Note: When picking avocados make sure they are firm to get a ripe avocado gentle press on the "button" on the top (the remainder of the stem) if the button will not go in this is not a ripe avocado, if it goes in too easy it is over ripe and will have black spots inside.
Make sure you have a nice soft ripe tomato and add onion very slowly or you will over power your guacamole and all you will taste is onion.
Make your guacamole right before you serve it so it doesn't turn black.
Restaurants use lemon or lime juice to keep the avocado from turning but it also changes the flavor so I prefer to make it right before I serve it and not use lemon or lime juice.
Ham - Sweet
HamDole pineapple rings
Brown Sugar
Cloves
Water
Place ham in pan and then stick cloves all over the ham, top with pineapple rings, then mix a couple of cups of brown sugar with hot water to melt it then mix in pineapple juice and pour over the ham.

Remove all cloves (they are nasty if you bite into one) then serve.
Save the brown sugar mix to make gravy.

Hot Chocolate Mix
Powdered MilkHershey's Baking Chocolate
Sugar - I prefer Splenda
Cool Whip - In the spray can is best
Milk
Many people like to mix up a batch of this so it is always ready but I like to do it fresh each time and I like my hot chocolate really chocolatey and real creamy so I have listed the ingredients above so you can play with it (remember to measure if you want to replicate it once you get it perfect to your taste) but below is how I make it...
In a 2 quart sauce pan cook milk on low heat
pour in a couple of cups of powdered milk (this makes it really creamy)
then add a couple heaping tablespoons of chocolate (wait till the milk starts to get warm so the chocolate will dissolve easily)
then add sugar (or splenda) to taste. Serve with lots o' cool whip on top!!!!

Then stir in with the other ingredients.
Serve Chilled
Pumpkin Pie
The easy way to do this is1. Buy one at the store already cooked - you can't beat the price and you don't have the work :)
2. Buy a premade uncooked one in the freezer section :)
3. Buy the pumpkin in the can with the recipe on the back and then buy the spices. Fill shell and bake.
4. Call your Aunt Beronica (or consult Betty Crocker cookbook if you want to really do this from stratch with a whole pumpkin - that's too much work with all the food I cook for the holidays :)) Remember if you do this you can also make homemake pumpkin seeds so save them!
Tip - whatever way you decide to cook this always remember to cut small strips of tin foil and place around the edges of your crust so they don't burn.
And, have lots of cool whip!
Stuffed Green Peppers
Minute rice - prepared as per instructions on boxCampbells Cream Of Mushroom Soup Enough to mix with the amount of rice you've cooked and make creamy
Green Peppers - cut off tops, remove seeds, and wash.
Water
Hamburger - if you choose to add this brown and drain
Mix rice with cream of mushroom (and browned hamburger if you choose) and fill peppers.
Then you can do this a few ways...
1. wrap with tin foil and place on grill until peppers are soft
2. wrap with tin foil and place in baking pan with water in bottom and bake until peppers are soft
3. Place in baking pan with water and bake until peppers are soft.
Mexican Rice
Rice - uncooked whiteCooking oil
Water
Tomatoes
Onions
Cilantro
Garlic Salt
Tomate Y Pollo Bouillon Tomato & Chicken Bouillon - can be found in the Mexican Foods Section of most Walmart stores
Cut up a tomato, onion, and bunch of cilantro and set aside.
Then measure your rice if you use 1 cup of rice use 2 cups of water (always twice the water as rice).
Place rice in a frying pan with a couple tbs of oil and stir rice constantly until brown (the browner the better but be careful not to burn it)
once you are satisfied your rice is brown enough add water (stand back the water will bubble because your rice has oil and is very hot)
stir then add 1 1/2 Tomate y pollo cubes (break them up) and add a couple tbs of garlic salt
stir well and then add the tomato, onion, & cilantro
cover and cook on high until almost all water is gone
once there is just a bit of water left turn off fire and cover - let sit on stove for about a half hour (this is the secret to perfect rice - the moisture left in the pan will be absorbed into the rice making it soft and the heat from the warm stove top will help this process) you can finish making the rest of your meal while your waiting on your rice so always make it first)
Mushrooms - Stuffed
MushroomsPhiladelphia Cream Cheese
Meat I don't use any but sometimes my mom would add crab meat or cocktail weenies or what ever she had in left overs
Pull the stems out of the mushroom tops and cut into tiny pieces
mix with cream cheese (and what ever else you want to use)
fill mushroom caps
bake at 375 degrees until mushroom tops are soft
Nacho's
Corn Tortillas - I prefer white corn tortillasCheese - you can buy canned or use velveta and melt it with a little milk
Jalapenos
Cooking oil
Toppings - you can have black olives, chicken, what ever you prefer on your nachos
Cut tortillas up into sections like you would cut a pie - 6 pcs is usually best
Place cooking oil in a frying pan - fill about half way and heat (medium heat you want this hot but not boiling)
When oil is hot (check by dropping in a piece of tortilla when the oil begins to bubble slightly the oil is ready)
Place tortilla pieces in oil and fry for a couple of minutes each make sure they do not overlap and be careful not to burn them
once the pieces are browned remove from pan and place on a plate covered with papertowels
heat cheese
place nacho chips on a serving dish topped with cheese and your favorite toppings
do not mix jalapenos in with cheese unless you know everyone eating likes them - you could make two different batches of cheese one with and one with out in that case add some of the jalapeno juice to the cheese while melting it
Oyster Stew
Canned OystersButter
Salt
Pepper
Milk
Oyster Crackers
Mix oysters with juice, butter, salt and pepper in pot and simmer. Add milk - cook on low heat until warm and serve with oyster crackers
Pickle Wraps
Pickle WedgesPhiladelphia Cream Cheese
Ham - you can use luncheon meat or get a cooked ham wafer slices at the meat counter - you could even use other types of meat like chicken or turkey slices if you want some variation
This is easy enough... all you have to do is spread a little cream cheese inside your meat, place a pickle wedge on the edge and roll it up! Make lots cuz everyone really loves em and they go quick!
Pork Chops With Mushroom Gravy
Pork Chops - or chicken breastsCampbells Cream of mushroom soup
Milk
Place meat in a baking pan and cover with cream of mushroom soup - I add just a little milk to make the soup spread easier. Bake at 375 degrees for about an hour then serve with baked or mashed potatoes - your gravy has already been made for you! This mushroom soup which the pork chops were cooked in is the best gravy in the world!
Potatoes - Yams or Sweet
1 Can of Yams or Sweet Potatoes1/2 cup Brown Sugar
Marshmallows
Mix Brown sugar with Yams or Sweet Potatoes and bake at 375 degrees until hot... if you like Marshmallows mix brown sugar with Yams or Sweet Potatoes and top with Marshmallows before baking!

2 cans sweet peas beans - drained
2 cans (26 oz) of Campbell's Cream Of Mushroom soup
1/2 cup milk
1/2 box Velveta Cheese - sliced
1 bag Lay's Original Potato Chips
Mix first five ingredients in a cake pan and then top with Velveta slices after that crunch up the potato chips and sprinkle across the top. Bake at 375 degrees until you can see the cheese is melted and starting to bubble through the chips.
Tuna & Noodle casserole is great by itself but as always if you have a crowd it is great to serve this with a salad.
Tater Tot Casserole
1 pound of ground beef - browned2 cans green beans - drained
2 cans (26 oz) of Campbell's Cream Of Mushroom soup
1/2 cup milk
1 bag of Tater tots
Mix first four ingredients in a cake pan and then top with Tatertots (I like to line them up in rows - you get more Tatertots in the pan that way plus it looks better) and bake at 375 degrees until Tatertots are brown and crispy.
Tatertot casserole is great by itself but again if you have a crowd it is great to serve this with a salad.
Tomale's - Coming Soon
Tomatoes - Stewed - Coming Soon

Turkey
Very Moist & Delicious
Turkey with Pop Up Timer - thawed1 Stick of Parkay Butter
1 20 oz bottle of 7-up
1 Turkey Bag - Renolds makes a good bag for cooking Turkey's
2 tbs flour
Soft Butter - Either more sticks of Parkay softened or whatever kind you prefer
Place flour in turkey bag. Hold the top of the bag closed and shake to coat the inside of the bag.
Remove the bag the turkey came in and remove the neck and gizzards from inside cavities. (Some people like to cook these and use in their stuffing or gravy - I don't I discard them. If you use them remove the packaging on the gizzards and just place them in the bag beside the turkey or back inside the bird).
Place the turkey bag in you pan and then set the Turkey in the turkey bag.
Put one whole stick of butter inside the Turkey.
Then fill the Turkey with 7-up.
Take the soft butter and rub all over the outside of the Turkey.
Then close the bag - leave bag loose enough not to touch the bird and tie with the tie that comes with the bag.
Take a knife and slit some holes in the top of the bag for Ventilation (this is important - your bag could burst if you forget this).
Pour some water around the outside of the bag in the pan - not much just enough to prevent burning or sticking. If you have a grill to set in the pan and then place the bird on top of it would be best but is not necessary.
Place in preheated oven and bake according to package instructions (an unstuffed bird usually takes 3-4 hours depending on the size).
Make sure your Turkey bag will not be able to touch the sides of your oven.
Once the timer has popped up take the Turkey out of the oven, cut the bag down the middle and fold to the sides.
Cover the bird again with butter and return to oven.
Continue to bake the Turkey checking it every 10 to 15 minutes and covering it again each time with butter until the skin is nice and brown and crispy.
Then remove from oven and serve your traditional Turkey meal!
Remember the Cranberry Sauce... Turkey just isn't Turkey without it! :)
Turkey Cookies
Alot of fun!
Fudge Striped Cookies - Keebler makes great ones.Candy Corn
Chocolate Covered Cherries
Pecan Halves
Tube of yellow cake decorating frosting
Take a chocolate covered cherry (the body)
and place a dab of yellow frosting on the flat side.
Gentle attach chocolate covered cherry to the bottom of a cookie (the cookies are the feathers - make sure the fudge stripes go up and down).
Take two pecan halves (the feet - make sure you get nice looking ones about the same size) and place a dab of frosting on the rounded end of them (the jagged ends are the toes).
Last but not least take a piece of candy corn (the turkey head) and place a dab of frosting on the big end then attach to the top of the chocolate covered cherry and...
