Stock valuations are STILL at their lowest in years and it's not too late to get in!

If you have been wondering when would be a good time to get back into the market or when to start investing, then think about now!

Stock Valuations are at their lowest in years!

Look at any current chart for any market and you will see that valuations for markets are at the bottom or below the lowest value range. What does this mean? It means that stock prices are at bargain prices now and if you wait for the markets to be in full recovery you will miss the boat.

End of the volatility?

The markets have not likely seen the end of the volatility that they have been experiencing but it is virtually impossible to pick the absolute bottoms or the tops, so buying in when stocks are very undervalued and markets are at or near the bottoms is an excellent strategy.

End of the Bear Market?

Are we there yet, probably not, according to most stock market experts. Is the end of the Bear Markets close? Could be, according to most experts. What happens when we get to the end of a Bear Market? A Bull Market takes over and historically Bull Markets have been longer lasting than Bear Markets with more significant increases that have recouped what was lost in the Bear Market and provided significant gains for those that invested near the start of the Bull Markets.

There have been 12 bear markets since 1950, with an average decline of 28%. The length of these bear markets has varied considerably, with an average duration of 13 months. Though any bear market feels like the worst while it's happening, the current downturn is roughly in line with historical averages
(U.S. equity markets have declined by 44% since the current bear market began in October 2007). That said, the worst bear market in history lasted 31 months where markets declined more than 49%. So the possibility for further declines remains.

When to get in?

Any time you are near the end of a bear market is usually a great time to start getting back in or starting. Probably best not to jump right back in with both feet, but gradually and systematically unless you want to make a big bet on single stocks and ride out the remaining volatility. Do your research and due diligence prior to buying or use a source that will do that for you.

Where do I start?

There are many ways for you get into market investing and usually on-line brokerages are the cheapest but you will have to do your own research and make your own buying and selling decisions. If you want to have a tool that could help with all of this the link below will give you the information you can use.
