Leor is an AEROSPACE ENGINEERING graduate with experience in SALES and MARKETING. He's worked for several hi-tech companies and earned the distinction of BEING DILIGENT. He enjoys experimental cooking.
Leor also enjoys life at IBM where he's a WebSphere Specialist. He was the PRESIDENT of large student associations and a PROJECT MANAGER with Health Canada. For fun, he's involved in REAL ESTATE ventures and always wants to learn new ways of doing things that have been done the same way "forever."
A native of Canada's Capital, Ottawa, he spread his wings and flew to his new nesting place, Toronto.

IBM Canada - Sales Representative - March 2007 - present
Leor is an inside software sales specialist representative for the world's premier IT innovator. He's dedicated to his clients' success, getting innovative ideas to market, and developing trust and responsibility in his relationships with clients and co-workers. TrueContext Inc. - Account Manager - 2006/2007
Leor made thousands of cold calls and headed up the cold call lead generation program at TrueContext. This included tools for calculating call performance and ROI of the program.He also headed up the Rogers dealer sales channel in Toronto.
Impatica Corp. - Account Manager - 2005/2006
Leor exceeded sales quotas and managed hundreds of client accounts at Impatica. His role was to sell Impatica for PowerPoint and Impatica OnCue to K-12 and higher education institutions in the Eastern United States and Canada.He made several appearances at conferences and trade shows and ran regular webinars to prospects and clients.
Level Platforms Inc. - Intern - Summer 2004
Level Platforms produces and sells network monitoring software called "Managed Workplace." Leor was employed during the summer to: find prospects; initiate contact with leads; support the sales team during any part of the sales process; and, help develop and find partners for an affiliate marketing programme. His main achievements during his time with LPI were:- Enhancing LPI's website with search engine optimization
- Running Overture and Google ad campaigns
- Signing an agreement with a trade association with billion dollar buying power
Health Canada - Project Manager - 2001-2003
The Office of Research, Surveillance, and Evaluation is responsible, among other things, for monitoring and analyzing changes in tobacco consumption and public attitude towards smoking. As project manager, Leor consulted with academics, prepared, and conducted a survey of over one thousand municipalities in Canada. Leor also oversaw the work of two contractors who analyzed the survey results and he authored a report of the findings entitled "Tobacco Control By-laws in Canada: 2001" at a fraction of the cost of previous reports. Other tasks while with Health Canada involved analysis of trends between price indices and tobacco sales,looking at tobacco smoke data, preparing briefing material for the Minster of Health, and editing and revising tobacco inspection surveys. Kaplan Test Prep - Instructor - 2005/2006
Leor instructed Kaplan's GRE and GMAT courses. He helped talented adults increase their test scores. His students gave him a feedback rating of "Excellent" - even higher than the already great average of all Kaplan instructors. Want to email Leor?

Leor's Education
Leor completed his Bachelor of Engineering (Aerospace) from Carleton University in December 2005. The focus of the program was on AERODYNAMICS AND PROPULSION.His fourth year project involved the design of an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) with 40 other students and faculty. His role was the design of a system for electronically sending and storing project memoranda.

Canadian Federation of Jewish Students - VP Internal - 2004/2005
The Canadian Federation of Jewish Students was founded in January of 2004 and is comprised of over 30 000 Canadian students in 32 member-organizations. The mandate of the CFJS is to serve its members with leadership development seminars, national and international representation, and help with national communication. The VP Internal is responsible for overseeing communication within the executive and between the executive and members and aiding the president in fulfilling of his obligations. Leor:- Developed and implemented internal and regional structures and strategies
- Represented the CFJS internationally and worked to gain recognition for the CFJS as the official body representing Canadian Jewish students
- Lead and facilitated leadership training seminars at two conferences attended by hundreds of students from across Canada
JSA Hillel Ottawa - President - 2003/2004
When Leor served as president, the JSA Hillel ran over 25 separate events in six months, including events that drew audiences in the hundreds and the hosting of two conferences with students from across Canada.
