Cape Sounion -- this is one of the ruins in Greece that you should not miss visiting. You can jump on tour buses that take you up to the cliff top temple at Sounion, were you'll learn much of the history of Poseidon the sea god, as well as what happened to the structure itself.

Ancient Theatre of Epidaurus -- on one of the evenings of your vacation, a visit to the Theatre of Epidaurus is warranted. Typically, plays and other events are held there and during the summer there is the Epidaurus Festival. Wonderful Greet entertainment awaits!

Mycenae - the fortress in Mycenae is also a structure that you will enjoy seeing and taking pictures of. The huge walls, double lion gate and tomb shafts that still exist will cater to your desire to learn more about Greek history.

Crete -- this is another one of the Greek islands, and is almost a nation within itself. Lots of excitement and entertainment happens there, and there are also great beaches for you to enjoy nature. There is also much heritage to take in while there.
