The descendents of the founders of Democracy working in the USA
- Phil Angelides -- former State Treasurer of California. Former head of the Democratic Party in California. Also, ran for Governor of California in 2006. He lost to some guy with a foreign accent.
- Art Agnos -- former mayor of San Francisco
- Paul Tsongas -- former Senator from Massachusetts
- Michael Dukakis -- former Governor of Massachusetts. First Greek-American to win the Democratic Party's nomination for President in 1988
- George Tenet -- appointed by Bill Clinton, former director of the CIA
- John Podesta -- Bill Clinton's White House Chief of Staff
- Olympia Snowe -- Republican Senator from Maine
- Zack Space -- ran for Congress in Ohio's 18th Congressional District and won. He will take the seat formerly held by Bob Ney, who resigned prior to the election.

Greek-Americans honor both the country of their birth and their heritage.
As a Greek-American I was taught both the importance of being an American and being of Greek ancestry. As a CafePress shopkeeper, I know the importance of letting people know about your designs.I am very proud of this one. It expresses, in a simple way, my love of the USA and Greece.
