Ranked #12,210 in How-To, #126,979 overall

We were at the Education Show in March and at a workshop run by Berol we made pump bags out of Koloron art fabric.  It was great, they were quick and easy to make and the best part was decorating them afterwards.  Since March our school has made over a hundred, everybody uses them and every one looks different.  It become a bit of a trend with us now.

You should see what we have done with a roll of Koloron, created a worldwide environmental friendly product for everybody, checkout the samples.

Using Koloron, submitted by a user

You take a strip of Koloron from the 1.5 meter roll about half a metre deep. Along the top edge (1.5m edge) fold it over about and inch twice and stick it down with PVA to made a tube for the draw string. Along the bottom edge fold over a strip about an inch but don't glue. Do the same down each side edge. These are your gluing flaps. Fold the fabric down the centre, top to bottom and fold it over the make your bag. Use PVA along the flaps to seal your bag and when the glue is dry feed in the drawstring.

Now to personalise. Koloron takes most types of colour, marker pens, acrylic paint, pastels and black line pens. You can even use PVA and apply glitter before it dries.

Everybody has something to say if it's only their name. Over the past months we have seen some amazingly creative designs, some so beautiful we would like to see them reproduced. Without a doubt we have some budding artists and fashion designers of the future here.

These bags last but if you want something different its important to know that Koloron is 100% recyclable.

You recently applied to join my Crafts and Hobbies Group on Squidoo, however your lens does not quite fulfil the Group Rules which you can see here ? http://www.squidoo.com/groups/crafts/#module2314616

Please feel free to reapply if your lens meets these requirements in the future.

Excellent Jane - I got loads of good stuff from this year's Educ Show too. Welcome to Education, Education, Education Group. (Only the Brits will get the irony)! Come and have a look at www.squidoo.com/PlaygroundPoets, if you will - to get your school anthology published.
Best wishes
