What's So Great About Green Drinks?
Green drinks are natural, alkalizing, whole food drinks that are made up from green vegetables and sometimes certain fruits. Green drinks make great detoxifiers and blood cleansers and are also excellent sources of chlorophyll, enzymes, minerals, vitamins, antioxidants, and other essential nutrients.
Generally, green drinks are available as green powder drinks that can be mixed with water, or, you can make them at home out of green veggies and a food processor or vita mix.

My Favorite Green Drink Recipe
This Is The Green Drink I Like To Make For Breakfast Or As A Mid Afternoon Snack
Ingredients
1/2 peeled cucumber
2 handfuls of greens, I like kale or spinach
1 peeled lime or 1 lemon wedge
1 peeled avocado
1 tbs of olive or flax oil
1 dash of sea salt
Directions
The directions are easy, simply add all of the above ingredients into your food processor, blender or vita mix. Then blend until it is a smooth paste. You can add ice or a little water if you want to liquify the drink a bit.
This green drink is one of my favorites because it is so alkalizing and is loaded with good fats. The good fats help to keep me full and my energy up for the day.

I'm warming up to avocado, but liquified might be a little bit too much for me right now. Someday! It doesn't help that avocados in my area are sometimes $5 a piece in the winter. I was just in California and they were 99 cents! Interesting drink, it has some fresh, healthy ingredients.
