Prepare the ham
Cut as many slices of ham as you need. Add a little water to some green food dye, in a bowl, and soak the slices of ham in it. Ham from the bone should absorb the green colour quite readily.

Prepare the eggs
Crack your eggs into the mixing bowl and beat them until the whites and yolks are mixed. Add some green food dye to the eggs and mix it in until the mixture is evenly green. Add a little salt and/or pepper if you like.

Prepare the pan
Pour some cooking oil into the pan and heat it on a stove; use just enough oil to lightly cover the surface of the pan, tilt the pan so that the oil covers the whole cooking surface.

Cook the eggs and ham
Pour in the eggs first and cook; when they are almost ready, throw in the ham (remember you are using pre-cooked ham so this only needs a light frying). If the ham is not green enough, add a few more drops of dye.

Serve the Green Eggs and Ham
