Global Warming is a Scientific Fact with Dire Consequences

AnthonyAltorenna says:

There's no doubt that the global temperatures are increasing. What remains in the balance is the impact on the planet and its inhabitants. If the past is any indication, it's gonna be a rough ride.

COUNTRYLUTHIER says:

At a minimum ahmmmmm, it is apparently "An inconvenient truth" to some. I think we influence the environment to be totally frank.

AlphaChic says:

Where I live, the plants started budding in January, whereas it usually occurs in April. I think the consequences may actually be more dire and come sooner than expected.

Steve Kaye says:

I worked with scientists at Gulf Oil's Research Center who were talking about global warming in 1976. It's old science. The people in the oil companies have known about it for a long time.

says:

I feel the affects of global warming are real. I am trying to do my part to ensure a long and health plant long after I'm gone.

There is no Proof that Global Warming is a Threat

I wanted to say in your duel poll that there is enough data to show global warming exists that I suspect many who don't think it is true have their own agenda for spreading propaganda. I know this doesn't cover everyone, but I think it applies to a majority of those denying global warming. I am truly concerned and want to thank you for writing this lens to remind us of this global problem.

Don't know what the problem is with the debate - will file a bug report and hope it works soon. Please try it again in a few days.

While I can "Like" your lens, and maybe this comment will take, I was unsuccessful weighing in on your duel and your poll. Squidoo's tentacles must be a bit tangled. I'll check out a couple of your other lenses.

It's always inspiring to see lenses dedicated to preserving the planet such as this one. To care for Mother Earth should be our top priority. Fantastic lens! Hey, I just published my fourth lens called the 3 Shortcuts to Happiness and would love to know what you think of it. Any suggestion will be greatly appreciated. Blessings! Sundae ;-)
