Green Monster Tickets at Fenway Park

When you buy Green Monster tickets to attend a game at Fenway Park, you're in for the experience of a lifetime. Green Monster seats provide some of the most coveted views of Red Sox games.

Perched atop the famed 37' left-field wall in Fenway, the new Green Monster seats are some of the most highly sought after seats in Major League Baseball. Fenway is the oldest ballpark still in operation. The fact that they still use a hand-operated scoreboard, and that they still play on real turf rather than the artificial turf found at many other MLB parks, makes Fenway a real fan favorite.

Fenway Park is also the smallest of the major league stadiums, which means that you'll be closer to the action, but Green Monster seats are special because of the unparalleled views of the entire field, and the access to the standing room area. There is room to move around, and there is a railing where you can set your food and drinks down. One of the reasons to choose Green Monster seats is that it's a great place to catch a homerun ball off the bat of your favorite Red Sox player, so be sure to bring your glove along.

A story in USAToday asked the following question: "If you could sit anywhere at any ballpark in the major leagues, where would it be?" The number one answer was Green Monster seats at Boston's Fenway Park. These seats have only been available since the renovation of the park in 2003 when three rows of seats and a standing room row were added. Green monster seats give fans an unobstructed view of the ball field, access to its own concession stands and new bathrooms located in the left-field corner of the stadium.

The best and easiest way to score Green Monster seats is to first go to iscoredtickets.com and click on the 'Green Monster Seats' link in the second paragraph. This will bring up a page of tickets available on eBay. Look for the deal you want then go ahead and click on that deal. You'll go to that seller's page on eBay where you can finish the purchase or even ask the seller a question about the tickets. The eBay Buyer Protection Plan ensures you'll be happy with your purchase or they'll take steps to make it right.

Green Monster seats are also a good place to people watch, as celebrities are often spotted in these seats. There are no season tickets and the seats and standing room section are sold on a per game basis.

For those looking for that quintessential experience of Fenway Park, Green Monster tickets are, well... just the ticket!. The limited number of seats makes them a little more expensive, but if you think the bragging rights are worth it, be sure to grab some Green Monster Tickets today.

Steeped in history and tradition, visiting Boston's Fenway Park is a wonderful experience for those who love baseball, and Boston Red Sox fans. If a visit to Fenway to watch a game will be part of your visit to Bean Town, then why not go ahead, get some Green Monster tickets and experience the thrill of a Red Sox game atop the famed wall?

Before there were Monster Seats

Green Monster It has only been recently that you could sit atop the famed monster.

If you attended a game in 2002 or before you could only admire it from afar. The only thing up there was a net (added in 1936) designed to catch the homers lofted over the left field wall so they wouldn't bonk people off the head while walking along Lansdowne Street. The only people allowed topside were the ones retrieving those taters.

It wasn't until the spring of 2003 that the "Best place to watch a game in baseball" became 37 feet above field level. Luckily for the Red Sox and their fans, that's the same year Big Papi joined the Sox and helped power them to a couple World Series titles.

Personally, when the seats first went up, I resisted the idea of "defacing" the fabled ballpark by adding the seats. Today? Well today I couldn't imagine Fenway without them. It's almost like they came with the place and to see the reaction of the people in those seats when the ball flies off the bat and they realize it's headed their way is priceless. The thought process must be something like OMG! Here it comes! Get your glove out Jimmy! What a story those people have to tell.

Baseball is pretty unknown sport in our country and I remember how enthusiastic was our state champion when they got first tribune on their stadium. There was just benches really and no roof and definitely nobody thought about good or bad seats...
But it is a start, right?

Hi mihgasper - thanks for the comment. I grew up with baseball and is a major sport in the US. I can't imagine what it would be like without it. What's a tribune?

Hi davespeed - I've sat in the bleachers, 1st and 3rd base sidelines but never in the monster seats. It must be quite an experience
