Green living Holiday Seminars

Just south of Bergerac 15 km from the airport and 4 Km from the bastide town of Eymet. In the south of the Dordogne.
We like to keep the groups fairly small as it gives us more time to spend with each of you individually. You can come as a group or as an individual, accomodation will be tailoured to your situation, ie couples will all have double rooms.
All food and drink is included. Special needs are also catered for ie for those who are vegetarians.
There is a swimming pool and there are stocked lakes on the property.
Sky tv is here and so is internet access for those who want it .
There are welcome packs included for when you arrive.
Please book early as places are very limited and are filled up every year.

Seminars .
Most seminars are three to four hours in length, there are of course breaks in between, and if there is a particular interest in a subject then we will expand upon it .

A look at the different types of solar heating. Diy and kits through to instalation, heating hot water in the home, pools, a look at storing hot water and what to do with it .

Woodburner pellet, coal, and other alternative fuels, cookers and stoves .
A how to install into existing systems or new install. How to combine hot water electricity generators into one complete system. Control systems .

Green living Organic gardening.

From growing potatoes to making a greenhouse or hothouse.
Tips and advice for alternative natural insect repelers and desease prevention.The wonders of bamboo, solar dryers and composting,aquaponics.

seminar 5/

Eco buiding and construction.
Building with straw bales. Eco insulation, light, timber framed construction . We will be building the small eco house / office this year..
