Shades of Green and Shajo
Green is my favorite color. It doesn't seem to matter what shade of green it is, I still love it. It also, doesn't seem to matter what it is, if it's green, I love it. I'm not sure why I've always been drawn to the color green but it makes me feel happy.

Green Shoes
Out of all the green pieces of clothing I have had over the years and I have in my closet now, I don't think I have ever had a green pair of shoes. These are beautiful because they are green but not quite my style. I prefer a more casual, laid back look. I don't have any green denim jeans but I do have some green corduroy jeans!

Green Frog
Green frogs are cute except for the ones that hang out on my front storm door. Every time I go outside I'm afraid they are going to jump on me.
I also have a frog bathroom, It is lime green and yellow with frog accents every where, A frog soap dish, frog shower curtain hooks, frog toothbrush holder, frog clock, frog pictures, yep, it is frogged out!

Green Trees
My house is in the forest but during the winter months you can see the houses through the woods behind us and in front of us. Every year, I can't wait for spring when the trees begin to sprout their leaves. Within just a few weeks my house is hidden back in the forest and we can't see anyone and they can't see us!
Green Cat?
I love cats and this one just happens to be green! How could I ever be so lucky to find a green cat? It's like finding a four leaf clover!
My cat is a brown tabby named JD. She is very spoiled and loves to pick on our dog. I love her for the princess that she is even though she isn't green. Don't worry,

Another one of my favorites is cucumbers especially soaked in vinegar. This is super simple to make. Slice your cucumbers in a bowl, add equal parts of water and apple cider vinegar. Sometimes I add onions too. Add a dash of pepper and let the cucumbers soak for several hours, overnight is even better!
Green Emeralds
Emeralds are my favorite gem stone. When, my hubby and I went shopping for my engagement ring I was automatically drawn to the beautiful green color of the emerald rings. Guess what I got? :)

Going Green
Green has become the color that means environmentally friendly. If you want to "go green" make sure you recycle, buy and use renewable resources, and use environmentally safe products.
St. Patrick's Day
St. Patrick's Day is a fun green holiday celebrated every year on March 17th. Everyone joins in the wearing of the green! It's a special day to me because it is my Dad's birthday.
I also, have wee a bit o' the Irish in me blood too. My Mother's maiden name is Irish and of course my name, Shannon. Who would know that I have Irish roots with my green eyes, fair skin, and strawberry blonde hair?
