Are Christians Good for the Environment?

Environmental stewardship is undergoing a huge revival in the Church these days, but how should a Christian actually get involved? Thousands want to take better care of God's green earth but are concerned about earth worship and other scriptural no-no's.

Make this lense your stop for daily news, commentary and bible study on the environment from a conservative, Christian perspective.

If you get a chance, visit our totally solar-powered blog at evangelicalecologist.com. Tons of links to Christian environmental organizations to help you get more involved, and lots more links to blogs and websites so you can be more informed. Christian ecology book reviews too.

The world isn't ours to mess up, so if you've got a heart for God and His creation, make us a part of your daily Squidooing!

Get TOTALLY informed on climate change science

You've seen Inconvenient Truth, but have you seen Great Global Warming Swindle or A Convenient Fiction?

There's not a person in America who hasn't at least heard of Inconvenient Truth [watch it here if you haven't seen it]. It's an extremely effective video that conveys one side of the CO2-climate change argument.

But there are other scientists, equally as credible, that disagree. Still others agree climate change is occuring, but for different reasons. The Great Global Warming Swindle has some important responses to Gore's film.

A third film you'll want to see is 'A Convenient Fiction?' Put out by Pacific Research Institute, it gives you another viewpoint to see where scientists fall out, instead of just those who say man is completely to blame for climate change and those who deny people have any influence at all.

Are you afraid of a different opinion? Good environmental science, like any science, should stand up to thoughtful scrutiny. Watch all three, and decide for yourself. The truth of climate change probably lies somewhere in all of these messages, and someday we will all know the truth.

By the way, the REAL truth is the God who made the earth has complete control over our climate too. Want to know more about Him? Drop us a line at evaneco-at-gmail.com.

Don't put your faith in Al Gore. Put your brain power into climate science; put your faith in Jesus Christ.

Drop me a line!

Always good to hear from folk interested in looking after God's beautiful earth.
