Did You know human skin can absorbs up to 64% of what place on it. So shouldn't we be feeding our skin products that are truly natural? Products that are free of harmful toxins?
When you go to buy beauty products, do words like natural, organic, earth friendly, jump out at you? I am drawn to earth friendly products. But are all products that tout the words, organic, and all natural, really what they claim to be?
The answer to my question was right there in my home, I needed to go no further than my night stand. It did not take but a moment to see, my current body lotion, which I believed to be all organic, was not... In fact it had ingredients that I not only I couldn't pronouns, but had no idea what they were? Organic -- I don't think so!
So - whats up with manufactures adding words like, all natural, organic, to products that are definatly not all natual or organic? The U.S. Department of Agriculture does not, and never has regulated the use of words such as organic or natural on skin care or cosmetic products. Shocked - me too!
Manufactures are making billions on products that include the word or words, organic or natural on the label. This marketing team is a ploy, and will if your not careful have you purchasing products that you believe are made with organic ingredients, but in reality, have loads of chemical ingredients in the product.
A product that is truly organic must be made with ingredient's that have been grown organically. Organic gardening starts with the soil, the is guarded to ensure the environment is totally protected. To grow an organic crop, any and all pesticides or chemically enhanced fertilizers are never to come in contact with the soil.
Truly natural beauty products are made with organic ingredients. The final product is made with naturally derived ingredients, without any synthetic ingredients, such as chemical preservatives, or non-natural fragrances or colors.
So, if you want to be sure of what your putting on your body? Always read the label for the actual ingredient's before you purchase a beauty product. Don't always be lured by the name of the product or the catch phrases listed on the label, All Natural, Organic, Earth Friendly, aren't always as friendly as the label portrays them.
