Mmmm. Tabasco Brand Green Pepper Sauce.

It is my most beloved of sauces.

Shunned by some (of unenlightened palates) as "not spicy enough", the green tabasco packs a vivid, tangy jalapeno punch.

It is a reliable choice as a condiment, recipe ingredient, dip or beverage (only for the hardcore).

Apply liberally.

Goes great with...

everything, of course. But let's be more specific...

  1. PIZZA. Probably the best combo in the world: pizza and green tabasco. Hot pizza, cold pizza, room temperature pizza in a hotel room the morning after... you name it. It's all good.
  2. Shrimp scampi. The shrimp, the rice, the garlic (lots of garlic). It's all wonderful together, but one thing can really make it shine. Green tabasco is that thing.
  3. Bagels & cream cheese. Add some green to that boring breakfast classic. Yum!
  4. Eggs. Admittedly, the classic red tabasco is the better sauce for eggs, but add some green as well. A safe bet is 3 parts classic red, 2 parts green (and, y'know, 1 or 2 parts eggs. Or, just lose the eggs altogether, wtf.)
  5. Jalapeno poppers. Yes, seriously. If you like this sauce as much as I do, this is the way to show it. It doesn't get more jalapenie than this.
  6. What do you like the green tabasco on?

The Official Green

Green at tabasco.com
TABASCO brand Green Pepper Sauce is milder than our Original Red because it's made from a milder variety of pepper - jalapeno. That's why you can pour on the flavor without all the heat. But don't underestimate the power...

Well, it's not all green sauce related, but it's merchandise nonetheless... and most of it is green in color, so there.
