Think of Giant Squid Greeters as Squidoo's own Welcome Wagon (I hope that doesn't date me too much). We want to help new lensmasters feel comfortable with lensbuilding and the SquidU forums. Lensmasters become Greeters because we want to share our knowledge with other lensmasters. We want to give something back to a community that has been so generous with us. Greeters have a strong sense of Squidoo community and want to make it even better.

Think of us as the Fairy Godsquid Squad.
Greeters are always on the lookout for potential Giant Squids. We flit around Squidoo reading lenses, searching for those lensmasters that might have what it takes to become a Giant Squid.When we see a Squid that we think has real Giant potential, we'll drop by a few of that person's lenses, leave some comments, and usually offer our assistance. You can take it...or not.
You don't have to wait to be tapped by a Greeter to get our help. Contact any Greeter, and ask for guidance. If you don't click with your first Greeter, try another one. We all have different styles.
I really like saying "squid squad." That's fun!
