Greetings Level 58 Squids

Having gained a lot of points during my term as a Squid Angel, I was able to level up to 58. This was assisted by my bonus points for earning the Facebook and Lens sharing trophies. I also got 200 bonus points for giving my 800th comment. I hope to give my 1000th comment while at level 58 which will earn another Squidoo trophy, my 23rd. I have also written quite a few lenses lately so the 99th and 100th lens trophies are within my grasp. With my rise to level 58, I am within 22 of the level 80 top of Squidoo. I continue to believe that they will eventually increase the number of Squidoo levels to 100 or more.

At the point when I leveled up to 58, I was about half way through my Squid Angel assignment for December 2010. As mentioned in my Squid Angel Journal lens, I have blessed well over 500 lenses as a Squid Angel. This is barely a third of the maximum number that I am allowed to bless but even this number has taken a lot of effort.

As is my custom, this lens contains a number of lensmasters from my current level who I find interesting for various reasons. I also highlight a number of their published lenses. Check out the titles for a broad range of interesting topics. Each of the lenses listed will have been blessed during my term as a Squid Angel. I am very pleased to be a high level squid now and, of course, a Squid Angel. I have submitted my application for Giant Squid. The selection is perhaps a month away. By then, I should be at level 59 and have my next two Squidoo trophies in my collection. Squidoo has been very enjoyable during my brief time as a lensmaster. I expect good things with Squidoo next year and I wish all of my Squidoo colleagues the best of luck in the new year.
Squid Level Update - So long level 58!
Well, I have earned all the points necessary to reach level 59. At level 58, I earned a Purple Star for my Importance of Music for Children lens. I also got a Facebook trophy and a lot of bonus points for commenting. That was all I needed. I still am short of lens 99. I'm just positive that I will get to 100 lenses while I am at level 59.
