A fan page about up-and-coming Canadian musician Greg Neufeld written by a not so typical music groupie. In truth, I've never been much of one to follow a particular band or musician to the point of being deemed a groupie. However, having watched the 2007 season of Canadian Idol and witnessed the worthy rise and unworthy fall of British Columbia's own talented musician Greg Neufeld I found myself hooked and wanting to hear more of this man's voice and acoustic guitar sound and style.
Having had the pleasure of listening to him play live and unplugged at the small, local Arts Centre venue here in Chilliwack, British Columbia, I can say that he sounds even better in person. I'm of the opinion, when it comes to those who can truly sing, that often times musicians come across sounding too polished and processed on TV and CD. To realize and experience the true talent that is Greg Neufeld you have to see this man perform live. Combine his engaging, down-to-earth personality with his musical stylings and you're guaranteed a great show.
This fan lens is my attempt to help spread the word about this major Canadian musical talent.

Rumour has it ... Greg Neufeld has returned to the studio to finish recording his album.
Greg Neufeld's Bio
Canadian musician from Abbotsford, British Columbia. Born in Langley, BC. He's been described as sounding like Dave Mathews and Jason Mraz.Lead singer of the successful, lower-mainland BC band Dimarco. A two-time, Canadian Idol competitor who finished 7th in season 5. In February 2008, Greg performed a series of acoustic shows in Toronto, Canada with Lukas Rossi (winner of the CBS television series Rock Star: Supernova). He recently went to Nashville to work with accredited song writer Amy Foster (Michael Buble, Josh Groban) and Michael Dukes (Eva Avila).
His debut CD which contains the songs "Secret", "Your Eyes" and "Sleep You off" is currently only available for purchase at his shows. Sadly, I missed the chance to buy one when I saw him here in Chilliwack. Here's one fan who is hoping he makes them available for purchase online sometime soon.
