Who is Gregory Burrus

I'm a husband, father, telecommunications consultant, webmaster and now online entrepreneur all rolled into one. I'm also a big believer in finding the job you love so you never have to work a day in your life again. When you find a job you love, work ceases to exist.

On a personal note, I grew up in the good old "The Bronx, New York and I loved it. I went to elementary schools in the Bronx, but selected Power Memorial Academy for High School in Manhattan and it was the best move ever. New York City is a world unlike any other and once exposed you either love it or hate it. I absolutely loved it and everything there is about city life.

So no surprise I married a lady to be my lovely wife who grew up right in the center of New York City. The funny part is she lived across the street from my high school, which I never knew till I met her 10 years after I left high school. The city is huge but small. We have been married forever.

My wife just loves life, is very active in the church and my son is almost a college graduate, yeah! And my high school daughter is well on her way to being one of the best future designers ever.

I climbed the corporate ladder for over 25 years in telecommunications from working as a cable splicer below the streets of New York City, all the way to the lofty top floors of the steel towers of the corporate headquarters of major telecom buildings.
During the 25 years I lived through every phase of telecommunications deregulation which means turmoil and change from upsizing, downsizing, rightsizing and more.

As telecommunications shifted, the whole Global Economy shifted.

The Slap

Jobs shifted like crazy, many people were let go and one lesson I learned was to always move and adapt to change. For those who never knew what hit them, I can tell you there were many sad days to watch what amounted to families being broken up as the company downsized over 4 solid years. In 1997, I became one of those who left the corporate fold because it was better to go when in control, versus when they tell you it is time to go.

Being a Fortune 500 company, Verizon did give me the package which helped%u2026 but my spirit was down and I wondered hard what was next. Well one thing was sure and it was so much for company loyalty.

My transition from "corporate retiree at a very young age, to successful consultant to profitable growing online entrepreneur" has not been without some bumps, though. I knew I NEVER wanted to return to the corporate world - I loved my new time freedom as working contractor but I knew there was more.

I traveled all over the US and Canada every day of every week as a contractor and as a consultant. For me I loved hotels and airports, but 911 has made a huge difference in the fun of travel.

So now I had to find something to replace my Six Figure corporate salary.

Going Online is I don't know what? Fun, Scary, Hilarious and just lots of Unknowns. You know the feeling.
I HAD AN ADVANATGAE, I HAD A TECHNOLOGY BACKGROUND.

I started in website development. I understood the technology. But I did not understand as well the make money online aspect. In reality, knowing technology helps but believe me it is not the answer to success. It did save me from wandering to far in the wrong direction.

My journey in making money online made me realize that I did not want to promote fake make money overnight firms, eBooks that make you rich when you sell 50 million 19.99 eBooks or cash shifting programs. Having provided real value in my corporate life to customers in a face to face manner made me know that I did not want to join false MLM companies that want you to approach friends and family and strike up conversations with strangers in malls and at the gas pump.

So, I turned fulltime to the internet - determined to learn success in the Internet Marketing area.

Success in website development introduced me to many small business owners who have great ideas; great products but needed help in moving their ideas onto the internet. My great thrill was helping people overcome their fear of technology. Showing them it should not be an obstacle to their success. I did very well with it and made a decent income, only problem was; VERY few people were able to duplicate my success as web site developer other than website developers. .

Now, one HUGE lesson I learned from my experiences is the importance of providing value and building relationship. My customers came from word of mouth and from finding my presence in terms of others recommendations. I was doing attraction marketing and not even know I was doing it.

That's why it's VITALLY important that, no matter WHAT your product is%u2026 YOUR GOAL must be to become an Attraction Marketer.
And, I'm here to tell you straight away - this is going to take time, dedication and money! If you think otherwise, you should stop reading now and just keep your corporate job.

I have personally spent thousands of dollars on marketing training, and am now considered a WEB 2.0 Automated Attraction Marketing Business Solutions expert. I STILL continually take training%u2026 because the internet is constantly changing. So, if you stop learning, you'll get left in the dust!

And, I have no intension of being left in the dust!

Was it worth it? ABSOLUTELY! I now have the assurance that, no matter WHAT the economy does, I'll still be secure because I know how to offer and secure sales using Attraction Marketing supported by Automated Internet Technology. It just flat out works!
Because of my intense customer focus, I have devised programs that have grown out of real customer needs to help people get their business profitable on the web. I have devise Blogsite solutions that eliminate the need to become an HTML guru just to get started. We have ways to help small business owner =s become big business owners rather quickly.
