- I'm not sure if you have salad cream in America, it's kinda like mayonaise. A bit of that in a grilled cheese sandwich is just the best!

- We have grilled cheese sandwiches and soup quite often for dinner. We love a little thinnly sliced tomato and onion. Happy Holidays!

- Love grilled cheese sandwiches. There are some interesting variations here -- I have to try adding tomato paste and using Brie. I always use whole grain bread, and sauteed mushrooms piled on top make a great addition (except then you have to use a fork).

- Recently I made a grilled cheese for my granddaughter and she asked me why it was so good. I told her that I put two slices of cheese on it. She said, "Oh?!" So you are correct when you say pile on the cheese.
I also spread a bit of mayo on the cheese. Yum.
Lensrolling you to my tomato sandwich lens.

- I got two good things from my ex husband. And this is definitely in order of importance!
1. My daughter
2. Putting jelly on top of grilled cheese sandwiches!
They are light years apart in importance, but both are wonderful!

- Grilled cheese was the first thing I ever learned to cook. Easy to burn though. I can still hear the sirens. Seriously though, love the lens.
