Tips On Grilling Steak So They Are Wonderfully Unique
Grilling steaks is one of the favorite pastimes of many people around the world, though hamburgers are often the food of choice for most Sunday grillers. The best thing about grilling steaks is that you have so many different methods of preparation. Rather than simply grilling steaks for hamburgers or to eat with mashed potatoes, you will find that the sky is the limit when it comes to preparing your grilled steaks.
To ensure that your grilled steak comes out unique and delicious every time, you will find that using a wood fire will be the best heat source for your steak. Grilling a steak on the stove will simply be a waste of a delicious steak, as a stove does not bring out the flavor. Even charcoal simply won't enhance the flavor of the steak properly, and you will find that nothing can compare to a good wood fire to add the delicate flavors necessary for a top quality steak.
The reason that wood fires are so much better for grilling steak is simply because the wood of the fire lets off more smoke than charcoal or a gas fire does. That smoke that is released by the wood fire is what enhances the flavor of the grilling steak. Apple or hickory wood are two of the most popular types of wood used in many parts of the country, and mesquite is often used in the southern parts of the U.S. For the best and most wonderfully unique steaks, use a wood fire instead of charcoal.

The simplicity of this amazing recipe simply cannot be beaten, and you will find that the delicious flavor of meat is complemented and enhanced by the lemon and beer marinade. This simple steak is best served with bread and a fresh salad. Top with A1 sauce or Tabasco sauce as desired, and enjoy the delicious results of your efforts.
“The Best Thing About Grilled Steak Recipes Is How Simple They Are.”
The Best Grilled Steak Recipes

- Serves: 1
Grilled steak is far and away one of the tastiest foods that you can eat, and the presence of grilled steak at the majority of the barbecues around the world is testament to that. The cuisine of Argentina and Brazil revolve entirely around grilled steak, and most of the countries in the world incorporate grilled steak in some fashion.
The best thing about grilled steak recipes is how simple they are. The following grilled steak recipe calls for a juicy steak, a simple marinade of lemon, salt, pepper, and a dash of beer, and a wood fire with low coals. Letting the marinade sit for a few hours with onions and garlic will ensure that your steak comes out flavorful and plain, old fashioned delicious. No matter what this steak is served with, you will find that it comes out perfect every time. Regardless of the final taste of the marinade, the simplicity of the flavors mixed with the flavor of meat is impossible to beat.
For best success with this recipe, grill the steak over a wood fire. Wood smoke has much more flavor than simple charcoal does, and you will find that you can grill your steak to perfection with a wood fire that has low coals. If you let the fire burn down to coals, you can get the perfect amount of heat to cook the inside thoroughly while leaving the outside cooked to perfection.
Simple Grilled Steak
Ingredients
- Steak
- Lemon
- Olive Oil
- Beer
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
The first thing that you will need will be the steak itself. Select a good New York steak for the best grilling results.
Rub some salt and pepper on both sides of the steak, taking care to press the spices into the surface of the meat.
Chop garlic and slice half an onion.
Squeeze a lemon into a bowl, and add ⅓ of a small can of beer.
Add the garlic and onions to the lemon and beer mixture, and place the steak into the marinade.
Let the steak sit for four hours for the best results.
Once the steak has sat in the marinade for four hours, place it on a wood fire burned down to coals.
Let the steak cook thoroughly on one side, and flip over to cook until the steak is as rare or well done as you like.

Steak Grilling Instructions to Grill Steak Like a Pro
When it comes to grilling steaks, you will find that the sky is the limit in the variety of ways that you can prepare your steak meal. Imagine a complex marinade of sherry, milk, and soy sauce versus a simple marinade of rock salt and a bit of oil. Steak will always be delicious, regardless of how you prepare it. In order to be successful, you will find that the marinade is only half of the preparation process.
The secret to a professionally grilled steak is the fire on which it is grilled. Many people simply toss their steaks on the fire while the fire is still hot, but they find that their steaks end up slightly toasted on the outside with the inside still a bit raw. In order to grill the best thick steaks like a pro, you will find that using a fire that has burned down to the coals is the best solution.
If there are still tongues of fire licking out of your grill, the flames will simply char the outside of the steak within minutes. Once the outside is cooked properly, the only thing it can do is burn while you are cooking the inside. For the best success of your grilled steak, wait until the flames have burned down for the most part, and you are left with only the hot coals. It will take a bit longer for the steak to grill, but it will be well worth it.
