Grinding Your Teeth At Night

D
o you grind your teeth at night? If so, then listen up. Grinding your teeth, or bruxism, is a habit that 25% of the population has. It involves grinding the upper and lower jaw together while you sleep. Most of the time you might not even realize you are doing it. Grinding your teeth at night is a very serious problem that can lead to a lot of permanent damage if you don't cure it. If this condition is not brought under control, eventual consequences including sensitive, worn out, decayed, or missing teeth can occur.

Helpful Information On Bruxism

Grinding Your Teeth At Night

In many cases, a sleeping partner will notice the bruxism before the person experiencing the problem becomes aware of it by either hearing it or seeing it on their teeth.

Bruxism can result in strange wear patterns of the occlusal surface, abfractions and fractures in the teeth. These patterns and abfractions are a sign of occlusal trauma. Over time, dental damage will occur on the persons teeth. Bruxism is the leading cause of occlusal trauma and a significant cause of tooth loss and jaw problems.

In a typical case, the canines and incisors will rub up against each other. This movement will create crooked tooth structure, and can lead to worn-down enamel on the teeth. Bruxing can be loud enough to wake someone sleeping next to you. Some individuals will start clenching without significant lateral movements. Because of that, teeth hollowed by previous decay, or dental drilling, may collapse,

What should I do?

Try the Cure For Bruxism Program

So what should you do to stop grinding your teeth at night? Well, first of all you need to cure the problem, not prolong it. That's why I am not a fan of mouth guards, because they are inserted into your mouth so your teeth don't touch eachother. But guess what? You are still grinding your teeth! Why would you want to pay a couple hundred dollars for a mouth guard that will be worn out in about 6 months? That can be an expensive path to take. You need to do something that will CURE your habit for good.

This brings me to my next point. When I had trouble grinding my teeth, I will admit that I did try a mouth guard. I bought one of the ones at my local drug store and unfortunatley it only lasted about 2 months. Not only did I hate wearing it at night, but I didn't want to keep buying one every two months. That's when I found the Cure For Bruxism Program.

It's a program that asks for only 7 minutes of your time every day to help stop grinding your teeth at night. It tells you the truth about herbal remedies, the correct way to sleep, and much more. It's extremely affordable and it will save you a ton of time and money. It was featured in The New York Times as being the best program to help cure bruxism. I'm not suprised because it's very effective. In about 4 days you'll stop grinding your teeth and you'll be able to start living your life! I recommend this program to anyone that is serious about stopping their teeth grinding problem.
