What's So Groovy About Etsy?

In a word, handmade.  The imagination has no limits, and stepping into the shops of Etsy is like climbing inside an exhilarating creative funhouse.  Everything is lovingly created by talented artisans and crafters.  You can also find supplies to help out in those craft-tastic times.  If you're looking for affordability without an overload of fees, Etsy is the place for you (and me- it's why I'm so glad I found it!).  And you'll also find the perfect gift- for anyone- Etsy's THE place to shop!

My own shops serve as portals for my art and crafts.  Miss Millificent's World is my showcase for my dark and strange art and photography prints, as well as featured ACEOs and holiday notecards.  Groovin' Pop! showcases my love of kitschy retro, with TTV photography, jewelry, and magnets.  I have a ton of fun with both of them- stop by!

About Me 

I'm a thirty-seven-year-old married mother of two fabulous teenage girls, and we all live in Tennessee with our cats, rats, and hermit crabs. While I've been drawing since I was two, it wasn't until the last year or so that I really started crafting, and showing my art to the public. If you're in Nashville, Tennessee, you can find my work for sale at the Art and Invention Gallery. I recently had a solo show coming up in June, 2008, in Hendersonville, TN. For my artwork, I primarily drew with digital color, then decoupaged them onto wood or canvas. Now I'm back to the traditional pencil-and-ink drawings, but I'm still decoupaging.

I also make figures from papier mache, foam and spackle.

In my previous life, I was a horror/dark fantasy writer. I still occasionally dabble, and my latest work is in the Gratia Placenti anthology.
