No words, only emotions ;) Condom hair ties made me both laugh and cry ))
  • alteredkat Nov 26, 2009 @ 8:18 am | delete
Hurling came to mind at 1 pic...don't think I need to mention which one. ;o)
Informative green lens - way to go!
Thanks for popping into my bottle cap lens...I appreciate your comments.

There are some insanely creative people in this world and I give them a ton of credit. But I don't think I could ever wear a condom hairband. But it was a damn good idea.

Thank you for the blessings! Yes, perhaps you could be right about the condom hair ties! I had no idea the plethora of purposes for poo! Perhaps a new lens is born! Thanks so much!
  • Ener-G Oct 13, 2009 @ 9:39 pm | delete
Love this lens. Blessings from an angel...only thing...the hair piece condoms were way grosser than the recycled poo!

The pioneers used to recycle buffalo poo...they used it to make their fires on the treeless plains. And in India there is an ancient ceremony called Agni Hotra which burns cow pies in copper pyramids...
  • OurIslamic Nov 21, 2009 @ 11:13 pm | delete
That's exactly what I was thinking! I would rather use the recycled poo products than those hair piece condoms!

    VERY nice lense!

Thanks so much! You are quite brave yourself, separating do hair! I brush my pooch in the yard and we watch the birds gather the tufts for their nests! (or maybe they're fashioning wigs :)

Great 5* lens, very brave of you!

hey, I tried to reply from my site, but since I'm a newbie, can't figure it out yet! One of my readers actually bought an elephant poo journal and she said it was great:)
Lots of moms buy my book actual, it's for girls. But they like the adventure and educational twist to it!

Great 5* lens but not sure how you are going to recycle it.

In our house we do our best to recycle, have a compost thingy and so on but sometimes it can all be taken a little too far.

Great lens, As one of those old hippies that has been recycling everything since way before it was the "cool" thing to do, it's great to see some of the actual uses of recycled materials
  • tandemonimom Jan 23, 2009 @ 2:15 pm | delete
Clever idea for a lens, well executed! Thanks and 5*!
  • Jefferson Jan 15, 2009 @ 12:46 pm | delete
This is....without a doubt...the most entertaining lens I have ever seen!
    AWESOME work!

There's an artist in Ontario who makes paint from Canado goose droppings. I bet he'd like some sheep poop paper!
This is a great count-down. It's good to know that those hair bands are made from factory seconds! Aside from the obvious reasons, I think it's spectacular when companies find ways to profit from their own waste. Like hotels that recycle their soap. It's all good karma!
Thanks for featuring my lens on recycling greeting cards! I've rolled you over to my green-living lenses. * * * * *
