Shopping Near Grosvenor-Strathmore

Grosvenor Market: A small but complete grocery store and deli located across Rockville Pike from the Grosvenor-Strathmore Metro stop.
White Flint: White Flint is the nearest mall to North Bethesda and the Grosvenor-Strathmore Metro stop. It is actually about halfway between Grosvenor-Strathmore and the White Flint stops.
MOM'S - My Organic Market: MOM's is a great organic and health-food oriented grocery store. The nearest location to us is the Rockville store--located at 11711 B Parklawn Drive.
Trader Joe's: Trader Joe's is a low-priced gourmet food store. Often times, you can find the same brands offered at normal grocery stores for reduced prices. They also offer a variety of their own brand of products and they have a full produce, dairy, an meat section. The nearest Trader Joe's to our metro stop is at 12268 Rockville Pike. This is the same shopping center that has the Micro Center, Ruby Tuesday's and Bennigans.

Apartments and Condos Near Grosvenor-Strathmore

Avalon at Grosvenor: This is where I live. It is as close to the Metro stop as you can get. It is also great building with an on-site office, a pool, lots of parking, and a gym. Drop me a note if you want to know more about the building.
Park Side Condos: After the Avalon, this is the second closest set of buildings to the Metro stop. I've been into one of these condos and it seemed quite nice--but since they are individually owned, your mileage may vary. Apparently you can get permission to plant a small garden behind the condo building, which I think is great.
Ten Ten One: This building is across Rockville Pike from the Metro station. It looks a little more rough around the edges in person than it does in the photos--but the building does have a lot of great features: pool, gym, a small grocery store near by, and tons of parking.

Entertainment Near Grosvenor-Strathmore

Strathmore Music and Arts Center: Music and arts performance space right next to the Grosvenor-Strathmore Metro stop. In addition, Strathmore offers a variety of yoga, pilates, music and dance classes.
Dave & Buster's - Eat, Drink, Play - Official Site: Eat, drink, play at the Dave and Buster's. The nearest location is in the White Flint Mall.
