END TIMES CHRISTIANITY

With so much evil happening in the world today, I can see that the End Times are already upon us. The day has come when sharing the "Good News" is imperative...

I am thankful for those of you who will stand up, and have stood up to the criticism from those who have not yet accepted Jesus. It seems that many people do not even have God in their lives, nor do they care to. I've also noticed that when sharing my faith with unbelievers, who are not yet ready for God; I often sense their defensiveness and sometimes even their hostility toward Christians; and sometimes toward God Himself. To be a witness to so much blindness in the world today, really makes me sad. It makes me sad because I want those same people to know God's love, first hand. Time is growing short my friends and the world will not get better from here on out.

It says in Matthew 24:10-14: 10 At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other, 11 and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people. 12 Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold, 13 but he who stands firm to the end will be saved. 14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.

I know that being a disciple of Christ, especially in this day and age, does not help you to win any popularity contests - but to me, that is not what matters. I personally have experienced and know the love of God, and all I want is for those who don't know Him, to get a better understanding of who He is and the sacrifice that He made for us. I am always open to "constructive" suggestions on ways to make this group more inviting and appealing to the Squidoo Community. MAY GOD BLESS YOU!

The End Times - What do YOU Believe?

Face it people, life on planet earth isn't getting any better, and the bible tells us that it won't be getting any better. This is mainly because Satan is running rampant; and the bible clearly tells us that when we begin to see certain signs, not to panic. It says in Matthew 24:4-8 (New Living Translation):

4 Jesus told them, "Don't let anyone mislead you. 5 For many will come in my name, saying, `I am the Messiah.' They will lead many astray. 6 And wars will break out near and far, but don't panic. Yes, these things must come, but the end won't follow immediately. 7 The nations and kingdoms will proclaim war against each other, and there will be famines and earthquakes in many parts of the world. 8 But all this will be only the beginning of the horrors to come.

WE are indeed teetering on the edge of the Tribulation and I pray for my brothers and sisters in Christ that God will protect us and give us words like swords when we are speaking about Him so that they will know it is the TRUTH! I don't have a lens of this nature, just swung by to check this out. I'm new to lens and would love to bookmark this and eventually get it added to my blog...but I can't figure it out! so hopefully I'll get back here at some point...:D Agree with the lens 100%! Way to find an evangelism avenue like this, this is a great idea!
