The Martin Family

This group is for all things Martin! Is your last name Martin? Are you related to a Martin? Show off your genealogy and family history lenses, have everyone create a personal lens, and brag about Martin family events, achievements, and projects. Meet other Martin's from around the world, and help each other trace your history.

Genealogy on Squidoo is fun! The lenses offer so many great ways for everyone to get involved. No HTML code is necessary, and even the most technologically-challenged aunts and uncles can create a lens. At your next family gathering, have everyone bring some things to add to a lens. It's easy to show them how on the computer, and in less time than it takes for the Thanksgiving turkey to wear off, you can fill your own group full of family lenses.

Hi Everyone,

I am a descendent of Christopher Martin and Marie Prower who came aboard the Mayflower. Christopher Martin d/18/1621 in Scituate, Plymouth, MA. They had a son George Martin b 1618. He was also m before to Prudence Deacon and had a daughter Alice Martin b 1616 in Essex Co, England. I think the Genealogy in the Martin Family is sometimes hard to follow. But it is interesting. George Martin was m to Susanna North who was hanged as a witch in Salem in 1692.The Martin Family of Williamstown, VT eventually intermarried into the Lasell Family of Williamstown, VT. My Father's grandmother Ada Eliza Martin of Williamstown, VT married his grandfather Henry James Lasell, (a butcher who had his own store in Williamstown, VT). My Father was born in Williamstown, VT also.

Sincerely
Barbara J. Combs
