Kids One of the Best Things You Can Do

The Messenger of Allah [s] says:

"Among the best things about a man being Muslim is that he does not interfere in things which he is not concerned, so beware of this as you will not be excused of it."

In this hadith, the Holy Prophet [s] forbids us from interfering in the affairs of people which have nothing to do with us and with which we have no connection.

For example, if you see two persons holding a private conversation, do not eavesdrop or try to join in. It maybe that they have certain confidences between them which they do not want others to be aware of or involved in.

If someone says something which has nothing to do with you, do not try to involve yourself in such a conversation, or speak as a representative for one who has not asked you. And if you find out something which does not concern you, do not use it to intervene.

For example, do not lend your friend's book to another person. It is not yours to do so, and if you do indeed you have interfered in another person's business.

For sure, the faithful with strong beliefs and good morals is not arrogant and never interferes in other's affairs.

If you do involve yourself, indeed you have committed a grave mistake against people and must correct yourself by apologizing because you have done harm to others in affairs that do not concern you. Among the best characteristics of the believer is not doing harm to anyone and in case of erring, one should repent and confess their fault.

A faithful differs from a hypocrite, who never admits his/her mistake nor apologizes for the harm he/she continually does against people.

Although it is among the believer's characteristics not to become involved in others' affairs and not to be officious, it is necessary to distinguish between interfering and intervening in the case of bidding what is right and forbidding what is wrong.

For instance, it we see a person committing a crime, or lying, stealing, or oppressing others, or deceiving or behaving in a vulgar manner, it is obligatory upon us to advise them of their wrong doing in order that they abstain from such misdeeds. Such intervention is not interfering but only doing one's moral duty as a true believer.

Summary

Surely, among the faithful's characteristics is not to interfere in the affairs of others.
The faithful neither hurts others nor causes them harm, and if he commits a mistake he apologizes. The hypocrite only harms and hurts others and never apologizes to them.
There is no god but Allah and Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah.

Islam For Kids

The Faithful With Strong Beliefs And Good Morals Is Not Arrogant And Never Interferes In Other's Affairs

GRAND MOM & CHILDREN

By Shaheera-tuz-Zahra

Fatimah, 8 years and her younger brother Hasan, 6 years, after finishing their homework came to their grandmother, who was busy in reading a book.

Fatimah asked her: grand mom, what are you reading?
Grand mom: "oh my dear children, the flowers of my life, the light of my eyes, I was reading a book about Islam".

Hasan: "grand mom, what is Islam" he asked this while sitting in her lap.
Grand mom: "Islam is our religion; the only true faith in Allah's sight is Islam; and it consist of Usool and faro."

Fatimah: "what are Usool and Faru"?
Grand mom: "Usool means the roots and Faru means the branches, there are 5 roots and 10 branches of Islam".

Hasan: "Is Islam a tree which has roots and branches"?
Grand mom: "oh yes, my dear son, the spring of my days, Islam is a very strong tree"

Fatimah: "tell us about the roots and branches of His tree (Islam)".
Grand mom: "Tauheed; Adal; Nubuwwat; Imamat and Qayamat are its 5 roots. It means that we believe in oneness of God.

For the guidance of His people he sent one lakh and twenty four thousand Prophets. Hazrat Adam (A.S) ios first while Hazrat Muhammad (Peace of Allah be upon him & His Aal) is the last of them.

After His last Prophet, He had appointed Imams from his (P.B.U.H & His Family) progeny, for the guidance of people. Qayamat means, a day will certainly come when everyone has to get for what he has done in the world."

The children were all ears to their grand mom's interesting and wonderful talk and said: "tell us more about Islam".

Grand mom: "They are 12 in number; they are pure, sinless, Allah's Proofs to His creatures, the beacons of light, the guides and the path towards Allah. People will be called for, on the day of Judgement with their Imam".

Hasan asked eagerly : "then who is the Imam of our era"?
Grand mom: "The 12th Imam And Hazrat Imam Al-Mehdi (Ajjalallahu Ta'ala Farajahu), the son of Hazrat Imam Hasan Askari (AS) and Hazrat Narjis Khatoon (A.S)".

Fatimah: "Tell us more about the owner of the era who is the hope of the weak and oppressed".
The grand mom looked at her with great love and said: "h my dear daughter. Allah almighty had mentioned more then a hundred verses in Quran concerning the Awaited Imam Hujjatul Asr (A.S), among them in Sura An-noor:

"Allah has promised, to those among you who believe and work righteous deeds, that he will, of surety, appoint them successors in the land, (inheritance of power), as He granted it to those before them; that he will establish in authority their religion, the one which he has chosen for them; and that he will change (their state), after the fear in which they (lived), to one of security and peace…"

If you search through the Hadith of Holy Prophet (peace of Allah be upon him & his Aal), you will find more than 3000 hadith mentioning the awaited Imam, among these are:
"Al-Mehdi, among my sons, his name is my name, his nickname is my nickname, and he is the most resemblance to me, physically and morally".

"Al-Mehdi, among my sons, has a disappearance, when he reappears, he will fill the world with fairness and justice".

There are many names for the Imam, among them are: Al-Mehdi, (the guider) Al-Hujjah (the evidence)
Al-Qa'im (the up-riser) Al-Haadi (The guide)
Al-Muntazar (the awaited)
Sahib-Al Amer (the owner of the order)
Sahib-Al Zaman (The Controller of the era)

Immediately but yet very politely when the grand mom finished her talk, Fatimah said: "dear grand mom, you have enriched us by telling us about our Imam but we also want to know when & where was he born? And where is he now?"

The loving grand mom answered: "dear children, the awaited Imam was born in Samra which is a city of Iraq on 15th of Sha'abaan. Imam has two disappearances: a short disappearance; and the long disapperance. Ist 5 years of his life, he lived with his father Hazrat Imam Hasan Askari(AS).

Then his short disappearance began from when he was 6 years of age until the death of the fourth deputy in year 329 higri. In these years He reached the people or vice versa through the four deputies, each had a certain period to be the connection between Imam and the people. The long disappearance began the year 329 hijri and is continuing until now.

There are many cases that the Imam has met believers. He shall, one day, appear by the Command of Allah and shall bring peace, fairness and justice to Earth just as it is filled wit destruction, unfairness and oppression".

The children were very happy for these teachings about Imam-e-Zamana. So they kissed and0 thanked their grand mom.

Orphans In Third World Countries

Throwaway Children In Third Word Countries

Have you ever seen someone throw litter on the street? In the United States it happens all the time. People carelessly toss unwanted things on the ground. There is no investment of care or concern for what they discard. They don't name it or have a relationship with it. It is garbage,a nuisance they no longer want to think about or have around. In that way Africa is much like the United States. Without care, unnamed and unwanted things are left in the street.

The difference in Africa and other third-world countries is that far too often these unnamed, unwanted things are not garbage - but children! Like the little girl whose HIV positive mother died in childbirth and whose father abandoned her

Orphan Care An Islamic Obligation

MUSLIM AID" WORKS AROUND THE WORLD

ORPHAN CARE - AN ISLAMIC OBLIGATION

"I and the caretaker of the orphan will enter Paradise together like this (raising by way of illustration his forefinger and middle finger jointly, leaving no space between them)." [Saheeh Al-Bukhari].

The great importance that Allah (swt) has placed on caring for orphans is highlighted by the above-mentioned hadith. It is the responsibility of every individual within the Muslim Ummah, particularly those of us who live in more affluent countries, to ensure that orphans in all parts of the world are taken care of. Muslim Aid is striving to provide relief and support to orphans in the most needy communities of the world. Through your generous donations, Muslim Aid currently supports orphans in a variety of countries, providing them with food, clothing and a quality education.

Why not orphan sponsorship?

Muslim Aid provides financial assistance to organisations who support orphans, thus your donations will support a large number of children at a time, rather than benefiting only a few orphans through one-to-one sponsorship. This is because our experience has shown that one-to-one sponsorship is more expensive to administer, leaving less money for helping the children.

During 2000 and 2001 Muslim Aid spent more than £167,000 on orphan care alone. By supporting orphanages in Asia, on the sub-continent, in Africa and in Eastern Europe we were striving to provide a decent living and a good education for those poor children. Below is an example of some of the many organisations providing care to orphans that Muslim Aid has supported over the past few years:

 ORGANISATIONS SUPPORTING ORPHANS

Bangladesh: Al Quran Academy
Gambia: IIRO Orphanage
India: Bait-ul-Mal Imarat Shariah
India: MESCO
Iraq: ORFACT
Kenya: Young Muslims
Lebanon: Islamic Welfare Association
Liberia: United Muslim Women Organisation
Madagascar: Organisation Islamique de Secures aux Orphens
Nepal: Tauheed Centre
Pakistan: Hamdard Village School
Pakistan: READ Foundation
Palestine: Islamic Charitable Society Hebron
Sierra Leone: HELP
Sierra Leone: International Islamic Daw'ah Mission
Somalia: Al Furqan Relief Welfare Society
Sri Lanka: Makola Orphanage
Sri Lanka: Muslims Girls Home
Sudan: Jamat Ihsan
Turkey: Rumbbli Turkleri
Uganda: Greenland Home Islamic Society
Zimbabwe: Majilis Ulama

Education forms the foundation for all human progress. It is the most effective means by which people can escape poverty and secure a brighter future. The education of orphans is one of Muslim Aid's major priorities. We are currently working in partnership with a number of organisations, including the "Rural Education and Development Foundation" (READ) in Pakistan, to ensure that orphans and children from low income families can secure access to a quality education. The READ Foundation currently educates more than 31,000 students in the northern areas of Pakistan and Kashmir. They place a special emphasis on the education of young women, recognising the special place women hold in securing a bright future for the Muslim Ummah.

PALESTINE

Muslim Aid has made an initial allocation of £100,000 towards the provision of medicine, food, and the other necessities of life to the long suffering poor of Palestine. The situation today is grim. Over 70% of the population is in long-term unemployment, hospitals have run out of medicine and as a result people are dying. This is an unprecedented situation.

Aid and trade have been disrupted causing immense hardship. According to international law, collective punishment is illegal and this is what is happening in Palestine while the international community looks on passively.

Besides giving emergency relief to Palestine, Muslim Aid has for many years also provided hospitals with equipment and medicine as part of its healthcare programme; supported educational institutions to empower the poor; set up income generation projects to tackle poverty; promoted agricultural programmes; and taken care of the vulnerable sections of society, such as orphans, widows and the elderly.

Now the situation is such that all our empowerment programs have had to be halted so that we can concentrate on life-saving initiatives. We will be providing urgently needed medicines to 10 hospitals in Gaza and the West Bank, as well as food for the poor, the sick and the disabled.

ABOUT US

Introduction -- "Whoever saved a life, it shall be as if he had saved the life of all mankind" (Qur'an 5:32).

Through generous donations and legacy contributions, Muslim Aid has helped save and improve the lives of millions of people in 50 of the poorest countries around the world. By responding rapidly to emergencies Muslim Aid provides relief to victims of natural disasters, wars and famine and through long-term development programs such as provision of clean water, shelter, education, income-generation and health care, Muslim Aid is tackling the root causes of poverty.

Having gained a wealth of experience in the field of international relief and development work, we focus on working in partnership with local community-based organisations. This approach has proven to be most cost-effective in poverty relief and eradication & also is instrumental in building the capacity of local people to help themselves, re-gain dignity and become empowered.

In a number of crisis areas Muslim Aid also runs offices to directly implement relief and development projects. So far we have field offices in three strategic locations in Sudan, Bangladesh and Somalia where over 60 local staff are employed to serve our humanitarian cause.

Working in 50 countries across Africa, Asia, Europe and the Caribbean, Muslim Aid is striving to help the poor overcome the suffering they endure due to natural disasters and lack of life's basic necessities.

By working through partners, we are able to ensure that more of your donations reach those in need, rather than being spent on administration. We are also building the capacity of local people to work for poverty eradication and the development of civil societies, thus empowering them to tackle the problems confronting their own communities. These projects ensure that individuals who live in poverty stricken areas can have access to basic necessities and the skills necessary to generate an income so that they are not permanently dependent on aid agencies for food and shelter.

Since its inception, the number of community-based humanitarian organisations that Muslim Aid works with has been constantly growing. We are committed to a partnership-based approach to poverty eradication and empowerment, and our network of partners now spans 50 countries across the globe.

Child Slavery Today

To Play Every Child Has A Right To Play

Most boys and girls are lucky. They live with their mothers and fathers and their brothers and sisters. They go to school. They have time to play.

Many other boys and girls are not so lucky. Every year thousands of boys and girls are taken away from their mothers and fathers and their brothers and sisters. They are taken by gangsters. The gangsters take them from school. They take them while they are playing football. They take them when they are playing. Many never see their mother and father or brothers and sisters again! Their fathers come looking for them but they rarely ever find them. If they do find them, the big boss of the gangsters sends his men to beat up or kill the child's father.

Abuse Of Children

The Survey Defined Four Categories Of Abuse:Emotional,Sexual, Physical and Economic--

50 PER CENT OF INDIAN CHILDREN ABUSED -- SURVEY

SAYINGS OF IMAM ALI(A.S)

1. MAULA ALI SAYS : Do not force your children to behave like you,for surely they have been created for a time which is different to your time.

2. MAULA ALI SAYS : It should be your aim to display more kindness towards your child than the kindness that he displays towards you.

3. MAULA ALI SAYS : Surely the heart of a child is like fallow ground whatever is planted in it is accepted by it

4. MAULA ALI SAYS : If you scold a child, then leave him room to turn away from his wrong action, so that you do not leave him with obstinacy as his only way out.

5. MAULA ALI SAYS : When a father beats his child it is like putting manure on a young crop

Some 50 per cent of India's children have been abused according to a year-long survey conducted by the child and welfare department, the Union department of women and child development (DWCD), the Delhi-based non-governmental organization (NGO) Prayas and funded by UNICEF published in March 2007.

India's largest survey on child abuse had 16,800 child (below 18) and 5,000 young adult respondents and covered 13 states, including Delhi, Rajasthan, West Bengal, Kerala, Bihar, Goa, Maharashtra, Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh.

Main findings, four categories of abuse:

* 50 per cent Children who suffered abuse of one kind or other.
* 60 per cent Economically abused.
* 50 per cent Emotionally abused.
* 40 per cent Physically abused.
* 30 per cent Sexually abused by relatives or known persons.
* 25 per cent Sexually abused.

The survey defined four categories of abuse: emotional, sexual, physical and economic:

Emotional abuse, for example, a girl is constantly ill-treated for not being born a male, or any child pulled up for low performance at school.

Sexual abuse, for example, extends from fondling to rape.

Physical abuse, for example, is force used against a child by teachers, parents and others.

Economic abuse, for example, encompasses forced labour in both hazardous and non-hazardous places of work.

You know Mohammad was a pedifile. But I think we should help orphans, it's real important.

Hunger. Illness. Violence. Despair. Those are facts of life for children in the world's destitute and forgotten places. You help carry out our worldwide mission to create lasting change in the lives of children in need. Some need food, medicine or books. Others need safety in the midst of conflict or the aftermath of disaster. And children need your help today.

As a medical diagnosis, pedophilia, or paedophilia, is defined as psychiatric disorder in adults or late adolescents (persons age 16 or older) typically characterized by a primary or exclusive sexual interest in prepubescent children (generally age 13 years or younger, though onset of puberty may vary).

Youre talking about a society of 1400 years ago. and only 800 years ago marriage was legal in certain parts of europe at the age of TWO!(including consent).in a whole lot of states in U.S and europe? in 1700:marriage legal at 10.The Prohet Muhammad is not a pedifile ' His Association is for the Safeguarding and Protection of Children in Danger Of Rape, sinner And Violence. The Quran has not given names and other details of Prophet's wives but it has confirmed that all marriages of the Prophet (PbuH) were lawful (33:50).

Make trial of orphans until they reach the age of marriage; if then ye find sound judgment in them, release their property to them; [An-Nisa' 4:6]This verse is taking about two concepts here: First of all, the trustee of a property should first test the ability of the grown up orphan to see if he or she is capable of managing his or her own affairs well.

    3. The Prophet, according to the Qur'an, is a model for all humanity. The Qur'an tells us that he was at the highest of moral pedestal. Even if child marriages were common in his community, he could not have gone for it because it went against the Qur'anic injunctions of 4:6 and 4:21.

    Please support Save the Children's.

    Thanks Samy.
